Came in basic brown shipping box
I purchased the king sized Threshold Cool Touch Gel Memory Foam Mattress Topper. I’m not sure how to rate it. It’s comfortable. It has a bit of a smell right out of the box but it’s minimal and I think it will dissipate after a few days. It fits the mattress size perfectly. However, it came in an unmarked box. We previously ordered the same item in a full size and it came in the manufacturer’s box (see photo). This feels important because it comes with the CertiPUR-US guarantee on the packaging (see photo). This king sized one came in a basic brown shipping box (see photo). I unpacked the whole pad before I realized I should probably have returned it for another one that came in the manufacturer’s packaging so that I would be sure I had gotten the product I ordered and not just some other random foam topper.

Strong toxic odor that causes breathing issues
Product has a toxic smell. I got so scared because I started having trouble breathing once I took it out of the package. It is not something that can air out. I’ve already left it out for a day and it has cause me to leave the home so the home can air out. This is scary because there is an expectant mother in my home as well as toddlers and an infant. What on earth is the sponge made of. I’ve never smelled anything so strong and toxic. This should not have been allow d to even enter stores. How did it pass inspection is beyond me. While I cannot speak on comfort, I can say the value and quality is so poor that it should not be sold in stores for humans nor animal use. Target needs to pull these from the shelves before lawsuits start pouring in.

This product is a piece of junk. Don’t waste your money! It is the worst quality “memory foam” and there is nothing “cool touch” about it. In addition, it came with a mustard colored stain running the length of the topper - looks like baby poop! Horrible overpriced product!

Nice Quality Cool Touch Memory Foam
We purchased the 3" Cool Touch Gel Memory Foam Mattress Topper by Threshold, for our daughter twin bed. We didn't notice an odor when opening it, but we aired it out in spare bedroom for a couple of weeks...just in case of offgassing. She said it was great to sleep on but she wanted something a little thicker. It was definitely very comfortable and the good quality was there. We are hoping to find a 4 inch Cool Tough Memory Foam in the future. The Cool Touch feature definitely works great:)

Solved my mattress issue
Bought this for my daughters bed because her mattress is old and she could feel the springs on her back. She can’t feel them now and says this topper is so comfortable and cools her sheets down! I plan on getting the king size one for me.

Don’t buy it. I wanted the dupe and it’s definitely not that. Not worth your money. I’m not a hot person but it makes me sweat and overheat every night. No cooling effect at all

Cool to touch
My bf and I opened this up and set it on one of my kids' bed for 1-2 days while my kids weren't home so it could have plenty time to inflate. It is definitely cool to the touch but unfortunately not with a sheet over it but I will not let us sleep without a waterproof sheet over it. I doe not feel a lot of a difference from when we didn't have only because my mattress is a pillow top. This pad does help it feel a little comfortable but only for a bit and then after awhile gets uncomfortable if you're still in the same spot.

Cloud sleeping!
I can not believe how badly I needed this! You feel like you are sleeping on an actual cloud. It took a few hours for the pad to completely bounce back from shipping. But it was worth the wait! So amazing! The motion transfer in my bed has gone way down! The color is fun too!

Wow! This memory foam topper fit my queen sized bed perfectly. When I unwrapped it, it seemed like it would be too small. After letting it sit for about an hour, it puffed right up and expanded to the perfect size. It is soft and cushy. The cooling cover was simple to put on over it. I just love it!

Memory foam mattress topper
This Queen Cool Touch Memory Foam 3" Mattress Topper - Threshold™ is nice & thick. It is kind of heavy. It feels nice to lay on because of how soft it is. It adds cushion to my bed without adding extra heat while I’m sleeping. It’s memory foam & the shape bounces back after getting up. It comes with a topper cover which goes on like a fitted sheet. The material is double layered, has a cool touch to it, & feels very soft. It covers my queen size bed & keeps the topper clean. I just put my sheets over it. This topper is comfortable to sleep on, & it conforms to my body. When I unpackaged it, it took its shape quickly & didn’t have a strange smell. I like the blue color with the white marble design on it. It adds comfort & coolness to my bed & feels well made.

Improved the quality of my sleep
This memory foam mattress topper by Threshold provides me a relaxing and restful sleep. The cover is cooling, something I desperately need. The topper is a true 3 inches. It took the topper a couple of hours to fully decompress and fill out once unrolled. The topper is more on the dense side and it supports weight versus sinking in to a more plush topper. The topper is a white and blue swirl pattern and the cover is a super soft material that is cooling to the touch. The cover has a solid top part that is double sided and while I did find it hard to get the under layer completely smooth, once I have the sheet on, it is barely noticeable. This bedding upgrade has improved the quality of my sleep!

Sleep on a cloud
I received the product last week. I immediately placed it on my bed. It comes wrapped in a circular package which needs to be cut to open. I carefully opened the roll and found the foam compressed. It started to open up right away. I was expecting a smell, however, I was pleasantly surprised by no smell. That allowed me to use it right away. There is a top cover which keeps the foam in place but also provides the cooling factor. While it isn’t 100% cooling, I have noticed a difference. Having a sensitive nose, the fact that this has no odor was a bonus for me. The foam is soft and comfortable. If you like a firm bed, this isn’t for you. But if you like to feel like you’re snuggling in bed, then this is your way towards fulfilling that wish. Sleep well!
