Complicated assembly
Instructions were terrible. You get a bunch of screws that aren't itemized. So much in Spanish, you can only find a couple words in English. You have to put the rolling cage together which is silly. Customer service was great for the refund which is why I have 3 stars. I bought a wallensee spreader. The cage came assembled all I had to do was put the self explanatory screws in for handle. Done!!!

The price is right
I was impressed by the simplicity of the device. The long handle welded tube is sturdy and easy to roll, and I\'m not as super sore as I used to be. In less than 1 hour, I spread about 1 yard of material on the lawn in the garden, laying a thin layer of material for reseeding. This is a great tool!!

It\'s easier to use.
This was the last tool I needed to learn how to grow a lawn. It\'s easy to assemble and easier to use. It lays down the compost evenly, and the cylinder retains any chunks, making it a nice smooth application. It\'s sturdy and looks up to the job.

Works as intended.
Using the GOPLUS compost spreader to over seed my lawn with a mix of compost and mini white clover. Simple machine, not too difficult to assemble, would have been easier with another set of hands, but not impossible to DIY. All the hardware was there, just a little awkward, but I like putting together stuff like this so I can use thread locker on bolt threads if not locking nuts, and seal gaps with silicone if needed. For the money a good deal and I expect it will outlast me.

Works quite well
I needed to spread 75 bags of topsoil on my lawn. It work perfectly. It was even better than I expected because it filtered out the sticks and rocks and it was just dirt.

Well built and easy to use
I bought this to apply fertilizer to my reseeded lawn. Relatively cheap, the parts look sturdy and fit well, making it simple to assemble. So far so good. Quite satisfied with the product.

Nice idea
I just receded my lawn, and I didn't have one of these. So by hand, I had to go and put straw down all of my lawn. That took forever. So I got one of these in the future I can just put down Pete Moss with ease. Fill this Pete Moss walk around your yard and I will evenly distribute it overtime. You can read a lot about how this works. It seems pretty straightforward to assemble. I'll show you a picture of what it looks like during my unboxing, so you know what's involved. Overall I'm hopeful for this to help my over cleanup on my lawn.

It was absolutely fantastic.
It is well built and can be seen to last a long time, which makes it very easy to fertilize. I would put a fine layer of compost on top of the seed and then compact it. Topdressing protects the seeds from the elements and keeps them in contact with the soil during germination. I like this thing very much.

It works OK I suppose, maybe I was expecting better. Peat moss has trouble getting through the screen, have to shake/bang the ground every rotation. I'll try another material to see if it spreads easier.

Okay. Does the job.
If you measure handle on both sides of barrel you may get 27 in. but the barrel itself is 23 1/2 in.

Flimsy, too many parts
This roller arrived bent because of its thin, flimsy metal. Too many pieces to put together & the washers and nuts were extremely weak & small. Do not buy & look for something sturdier.

It spreads very little at a time.
It works as intended. It takes longer to fill than it does to actually use. The screen is small and catches more than I thought it would.
