I contacted the seller to inquire about the dimensions of the trim, but only got a full size reply. The reply was not helpful since the dimensions were in the product details. The trim is much wider than I would like. The top of the wood frame is very rough. Other than that, this thing is very sturdy. I needed three or four magnets on the bottom of my origami box to hold it in place. I don't plan on writing on it and would like to purchase all the accessories.

It was so easy to install, we used a whole roll of chalk on one wall in the kitchen and my daughter seemed to love having a place to draw on the wall...it's amazing to think about. Wish I had thought of this in the winter! So far we love it and it's so easy to clean.
