item was easy to assemble. I personally liked the fact that it split into 2 seprate pieces because I had to lift at an angle to set it in place where I wanted it. 2 of the backing pieces needed the placement channel adjusted do to them not completely lining in the corners. I don't really care to much for the printed wood grain texture but for the money it works for what I needed/wanted giving space constraints (only had about an 1/8 of and inch in wiggle room in the width). An opening was added to run a power to strip to the bottom shelf so phone or other devices can be charged since the book shelf is along side of a murphy bed and it doesnt't provide any other room for a night stand

Ordered online. Ordered because bought a similar one I thought. Listing says mdf box arrived certified partical board. Listing makes seem sides are 1 piece like my other one purchased. This is two halves that attach. Listing says Costway box arrived from Thaiya. Opened box to inspect and quicly closed will be returning, not what I ordered. Not white its some form of white

I’m a single adult female who does enjoy building furniture by herself, and i bought two of these for my kitchen. This was the biggest pain to build. The tracks for the back pieces on mine were ever so slightly off between the sides and bottom shelving unit that it was nearly impossible to put together. I had to recruit the help of some family members to help me complete BOTH units. The first one took me four hours to get to putting the top half and bottom half together. While I love the style of these I HATED the process of putting these together. The directions are hard and challenging to understand in some spots. So, if you don’t care about how hard these are to build (especially by yourself) then the finish product looks great.

I had ordered a Room Essentials bookcase previously and that was surpringly sturdy and easy to assemble. This bookcase from Costway, however, is terrible. The pieces are thin and not sturdy, and assembly is extremely difficult. Parts don't line up, etc. Worst part is I don't know how we could ever return it without dissembling and shipping back. It's not worth the sale price even. I am doubtful this will hold up more than a few months.

do not waste your time on this. nothing but problem after problem. ball berrings fell out of drawer then holes werent drilled in correct spot so drawers wouldnt fit together. nightmare. i always take bad reviews with a grain of salt…but i was SO wrong this time. ended up having to return to store in pieces. absolute waste of time and effort.

The white has a wood grain texture and it comes with textured stickers to cover up the fasteners making it look nice. The cams don't always sit flush so some stickers on the underside of the shelves didn't sit perfectly flush unfortunately. The anti tip hardware is included and done well, I ended up installing them to the top to align to wall studs and keep them more hidden. The drawer slides work well. Overall very happy with this.

I spent hours to install only to find halfway that one of the holes were drilled in the wrong place and couldn’t put the shelves together. Such a waste of time.

I had been looking for a bookshelf with drawers for a long time. This bookshelf will do but I wish the drawers were bigger. As you can see in the pictures, the drawers are smaller than they appear in the product image. Assembly took about 2.5 hrs. Overall, happy with my purchase and price (under $200).

I recently installed a vertical Murphy bed. I also wanted a side book shelf / cabinet but the bed company charged $900+ This cabinet is great. And saved lots of $$$! Very sold and sturdy. Parts are well labeled and fit together well. Looks great. Only small issue. - the directions are very small and only illustrations. The ones related to the metal drawer tracks were a bit of a puzzle. Look at the pictures closely. The tracks come apart and are installed separately. You have to push up on a small lever inside the track which allows one section to be pulled free. After you see how that works it's easy.

This 4 Shelf Bookcase with 2 Drawers really impressed me. The assembly is very simple, with almost no difficulty. My husband don\'t need any professional tools or skills; he just need to follow the simple steps in the instructions, and he can quickly complete the assembly. This is a great thing for someone who isn\'t very good at DIY. Its design is very thoughtful, with 4 shelves and 2 drawers, providing ample storage space. I can place my books, files, and other office supplies, making my home office more neat and orderly. I especially like the anti-toppling device it comes with, which makes me feel more confident when placing the bookcase, without worrying about its stability. This bookcase is not only easy to assemble but also bringing more convenience and organization to my life. It\'s truly the ideal choice for my home office, and I wouldn\'t hesitate to recommend it to my friends.

Very happy with this bookcase. It looks great and was not hard to assemble. The box was well packed and nothing was damaged. I was able to assemble it alone. Took about a hour and half which for an item is size it pretty normal. I am very pleased with my purchase.
Manual in larger format required.
