I'm very like it.The board is thick and solid, with smooth edges and no unpleasant smell. After installation, it stands firmly and stably, and there is no need to worry about the load-bearing issue .The layering design is reasonable, which can not only hold large-sized picture albums but also store small-sized books. I love this bookshelf so much. I received it for Christmas and I still love it. Every time someone comes over, I get compliments on it. It did take a while to install but it is very sturdy and beautiful.

I give this bookcase 5 stars because it does exactly what I expected it to do and is a fair price. I used it to organize a corner of my home office and it looks clean and modern and fits the space perfectly. love this product so much. I can finally organize my remaining books, sketchbooks, and some figurines. It's the perfect size and looks great too. It's sturdy and holds up the thick wooden shelves perfectly. I highly recommend this product.

It's not as tall as I thought it would be, but it's a great value for the money. I have some large books that don't fit in it, but they fit in nicely. I'll buy another bookshelf in the future, but so far I'm very happy with this one. It was also very easy to assemble. It took a little time, but the instructions were clear, everything was clearly labeled, and I had it done in about 15 minutes.

It was really easy to put together, I made it myself, it would definitely be easier if I had someone else do it, but it's still cute. It has a cardboard back though, so to be honest I wouldn't waste time nailing it on, haha, mine was broken, so that made it really hard to put together. I broke the shelf in several places, like they say, trying to nail it on. So I ended up taking it apart, but it's still cute! Not too sturdy, so I wouldn't recommend it if you have little kids.

bought this for my bride's new business and she loves it! After assembling it, she hugged and kissed me so quickly that I couldn't help but bend over to avoid it. Easy assembly, no problem, we give it 5 stars...

Over the years I have bought several "shelving units that require assembly" for kids, work, etc. for dorms, bedrooms, makeshift libraries, you name it. I've bought the name brands at Nordic stores, and I've bought the cheapest ones at chain supermarkets and a few other stores. I say this to say that I've seen and assembled enough shelving units to say without hesitation that these are the absolute best. First of all, the packaging alone shows how much thought they put into them. There are disposable plastic bumpers in each corner - you know, even if you buy a shelving unit at your local store and take it home yourself, 9 times out of 10 there will be a corner with pressed board showing... they package it in a very clever way to almost eliminate any cracked corners, missing parts, etc. That alone shows how much thought they put into it. Another thoughtful idea that I've only seen once (and paid extra for) is to include wall mounts to prevent the unit from tipping forward. Again, huge win! Assembly was mind-numbing like the rest of the unit, the instructions are decent, there's really not much to say here. Maybe one downside is that each shelf can only hold up to 20 pounds - they clearly state that. I say this might be a drawback because I don't know how this compares. I've never seen other shelving units indicate the weight of each shelf, so maybe that's the norm. I will say that I have a few shelves that have weighed more than this and there has been no noticeable sagging or flexing (yet). I do have one complaint about the included backing panels, in that they were overly wrinkled and - for lack of another description - when I unfolded a backing panel to nail it into place it became two sheets instead of one. One final complaint is that the knobs for placing the shelves are plastic and either slide in too easily or don't fit at all and have to be hammered in - meaning hopefully you like the position of these shelves because they will never have to be rearranged again. Overall, other than my two minor complaints, this is a great value and the best of all the price points.

don't usually leave reviews, but this bookcase deserves an honest review from someone who actually knows how to follow instructions. This bookcase is very sturdy if you attach the backing. It also comes with a wall attachment if you feel it's too wobbly for you and want extra protection. I personally haven't used it because I'm still moving furniture around my apartment. The backing is very thin, so be careful with it. It did tear a little when I was holding it at the seams, so I recommend holding it by the edges so you don't accidentally pull it apart where it folds. Even with that small tear, I was able to tape the back of it so it wasn't noticeable from the front. I also recommend building this bookcase on the ground and not lifting it up until the backing is secured to the bookcase. Just follow the instructions. I promise, it will work the way you want it to as long as you follow the steps. For the price you pay, this is a nice bookcase. For those who feel the back is too thin or the wood quality isn't great, you'll have to pay more to get something sturdier, but once everything is installed and the shelves are filled, you really don't notice it. I do wish it had an extra shelf, it would definitely fit six, but this is what I needed. I'd buy it again.
