Q: Does anyone know how the keyboard works and has power? I see an mp3 connection and microphone connection but no power connector or place for batteries?

A: Batteries need to be installed, which are mounted on the back of the drum.

the drum set looks great but is so poorly made. as soon as my 3 year old hits the drum, they fall off. the symbols don’t stay on either. Wish the quality was better because he loves it. definitely not made to last very long at all

Awesome Birthday Gift for My 4 year Old Grandson
This drum set was the biggest hit at my 4 year old grandson's birthday. He LOVES music and this drum set is the perfect size for him. The Mic (microphone) that comes with it was almost his favorite beside the petal for the bass drum. He has several other instruments already, but the drum set has become his favorite. When he plays his drums he puts his mouth to the microphone and says loudly "ROCK N ROLL." It is definitely going to be hard to top this gift at Christmas time. It appears well constructed and I believe it will last quite awhile. It has taken center stage in the family's living room. It was well worth paying a little extra and getting a better made drum set that came with the microphone and little keyboard. This drum set keeps my grandson busy for hours and fOortunately his parents encourage his love of music. I highly recommed this drum set!

This was the best birthday present for my grandsons
I can't tell you how many compliments I got on this drum set at the birthday party for my grandson. It has so many fun things for toddlers to do, and these are things they love such as making sounds, singing, hitting on things, and more. If you are looking for the perfect gift for a toddler, get this set and it's surprisingly affordable too. But, don't make the mistake I did and let them lose the drumsticks before they even had a chance to really play the drums. Mine lost the sticks at the party before even getting the set home.

Not impressed
My 4 year old son honestly really likes this drum set. The size is good, however, I was hoping for better quality for the price I paid. The drums do not stay connected. I’m constantly reassembling them. The microphone is cheap and flimsy and doesn’t work that well.

Easy assembly. The only thing that needs batteries is superglued down so the whole thing will never make noise
