Q: Does the below the table shelf have to be assembled?. It looks like it will get in the way of the knees when the chair is pulled in towards the table with a child sitting in it.

Great, sturdy table. Easy to wash. My son unfortunately keeps climbing on the table, but the good thing is it holds all 35lbs of him. It's worth the money. I wish you had the option of getting two chairs
