assembled one of these myself in about 20 minutes. In less than 30 minutes I had it out to the yard with 5 yards of garden soil and three bell pepper plants. (I assembled a 4x2x1.5 model earlier today so I knew how to start.) Assembly Notes: Do not tighten any screws/nuts until all the pieces are assembled by hand. You will need an 11mm square open end wrench and a Phillips drill bit with a drill (or a screwdriver which I do not recommend) Hand assemble the end pieces first (do not tighten any nuts until all the pieces are assembled by hand), starting with the top screw and the bottom screw until all the boards are connected. Because the inner holes are in the middle of the recessed part of the board, I screwed the screws from the inside and put the nuts on the outside because I felt it was easier to access them with a wrench. Not sure how important this is, but the end pieces mentioned in the instructions are the outermost sides of the curve. That's how I assembled them. If one board is taller than the one you're connecting to, flip it over and see if that fits better. I found no difference between some of the plates in this kit (the 4x2x18 plates from the same company do have a slight 1/4 difference). Attach the flat plate to the curved assembly with one screw each on the top and bottom. The instructions show them on the inside of the curved end. With the curved assembly attached to the flat plate, and now that you have the two halves assembled but not together, go back and hand-tighten each screw onto a nut at the connection point. I had one screw with messed up threads, but there were extras in the package. If you can't get the nut to tighten by hand, flip the nut over and try again. If you still can't get the threads on the screw, try a different nut or screw. Now, connect the two halves: There are no stabilizer bars on this unit, but considering it's only 12 inches tall, it doesn't seem like they'd be needed. (The 4x2x18 model has three stabilizer bars that attach to the side panels for added stability.) Connect the two halves of the unit with one screw/nut each on the top and bottom sides. Once the screw/nut is in each hole, use the 11mm open end wrench to hold the nut in place and set the drill to 10, plus a Phillips bit, and tighten the screw into the nut. Repeat this each time you assemble the screw/nut.
Reasonably priced and the metal trash can/bed is sturdy

looked at a lot of products on costway before purchasing this one. I don't understand why there are so many complaints about assembly. It comes in a neat 2x2x4 package with two packs of screws and nuts, as well as a small screwdriver, a wrench, and a pair of gloves. No rubber edges needed because the ends are curved and not sharp, and there are caps to cover the corners. The 9 support rods provide stability and are easy to hide from dust. Although not very discreet, it was a hot day so I assembled it barefoot without gloves. No issues with cut hands or missing toes. Assembly took about 30 minutes, although we decided to use a screw gun and the provided wrench instead of hand tightening. It was easy to put on the dirt, and I checked it several times for levelness and plumbness. I added some branches/dirt/corn stalks/dirt...I stopped counting dirt when the neighbor's previous yard had 5 large carts of dirt. It is sturdier than I thought and I expect it to last for years. It looks great next to the house and with the watering system, it should be very helpful for my garden. I originally wanted a 3 foot tall pot, but the 2 foot tall one was perfect, and the 2 foot wide one was just right for my space.
Huge loft bed

This raised bed is awesome! It's huge! It was super easy to put together. It came with just the right amount of screws. The sides of the bed are lightweight and seem sturdy. It's similar to our other raised bed, just much bigger. It took a lot of soil to fill it in, but we're super excited to grow all of our veggies in it this year.
Sturdy and easy to assemble.

I have a few loft beds now and this one is super large and very well made. -It came well packaged and in perfect shape. -It was very easy to assemble. -It looks well made and all the panels, joints and hardware are sturdy and durable. -It has been in the rain a few times and you can't even feel it. There are definitely cheaper options out there, but this one works great.
A lot of screws

These large items that need to be transported come in several parts, which then need to be assembled. This time, I used nearly fifty screws. The nuts are wing nuts, so at least I don't have to find a wrench to tighten them, and the screws have slots that can be used with a power drill - I recommend a power drill. It's best to assemble it directly into place, because it's so big!
Beautiful Galvanized Raised Garden Beds

This is one of the best raised planters I've ever owned. It's well made and sturdy. I love the design, which allows me to adapt it to my existing garden layout. The installation process was very simple and straightforward. The galvanized material makes the planter look sturdy and durable. It's a great addition to my vegetable garden. It's a little on the pricier side, but it's definitely worth it. I promise you won't be disappointed - I highly recommend it!

actually doubled the height of this bed by adding rocks on both sides of the bed and adding a 12" strip of corrugated turf edging, and it is now only about 2 feet high. This is perfect for me, no worries about pests invading or getting down on my old knees. I had no trouble filling the bed with our local topsoil and then using boiling water to burn off local weeds, seeds and roots. After that I mixed half soil with half compost and once the frost period is over I am ready to start planting veggies. I am very happy with this bed and would easily have paid three times as much for a pre-made bed this high.
Heavy duty high quality product

The first thing I noticed was how heavy the package was. It looks like they used maybe a meter thicker steel than the others. I've bought a lot of similar raised beds and this one looks like the best quality. The extra thickness will be more useful in a few years as I've found that the others I bought a few years ago have started to rot and fall apart. Highly recommended.

This is such a steal. I love using raised beds for growing flowers and have two large ones now. I ordered this to make a lettuce bed in a shady area of my yard. The metal is sturdy enough that it doesn't bend too much from the dirt inside, and it was easy to set up. The wing nuts make assembly quick and easy, and after padding the bottom, you can fill it up in no time. The delivery box was fairly heavy, and the garden location is far away, so I split the contents and transported them out on a golf cart for assembly. While the planter looks a bit utilitarian, I find that the flowers on the edges cover most of the flowers and keep critters away from the precious lettuce in the center. This bed was actually cheaper than the fiberwood and block setups I've used to build other beds, so I was impressed.
Yes, I would buy again.

These raised planters are a great value for the money. This is my second time purchasing this set. Assembly is simple, albeit fiddly. I put the planters together while sitting on my living room floor watching my favorite TV shows. The impact driver also came in handy. The only reasons I gave four stars instead of five are: 1) Some of the unfinished edges are sharp and require careful handling during assembly and use. 2) Because the planters are made from a light gauge, you need to add a support wire down the center when assembling so the edges don't buckle when filling. 3) Some of the cheaper hardware is shabby and difficult to thread. Despite the flaws, these raised planters are still a great buy. It will be interesting to see how long they hold up and perform their purpose.

I have ordered these twice now, they are easy to assemble and seem to be of good quality. Make sure to wear the gloves provided as the metal edges can cut your fingers without you noticing. Can't wait to see them filled with flowers.
