Q: Actually, looking at the directions, clearly you CAN build the loft bed without the desk, by simply skipping from step 7 to 12. So perhaps a better question is: is there a reason that you shouldn't?

bought a bed and it totally exceeded my expectations. It took my husband about two hours to put it together but it is very well made and super sturdy. It doesn't squeak or make any noise when we lay down on it. The storage under the bed is amazing! There is a lot of space under the bed and it is super easy to open and close. It looks very modern and I am very happy with my purchase so far!

This platform bed frame is a great value for the money. It was easy to assemble and once it was set it was very secure. The slats have adhesive strips to hold the mattress in place but my mattress felt secure even without the adhesive strips. The black design is sleek and modern.

I ordered it on a Friday and spent most of Saturday moving, so it was delivered just long enough for me to tinker with it. I hesitated for a while, opened it up and realized there weren't many parts, so I had it all done by myself in 45 minutes.

My wife ordered this bed for our daughter's room. I was skeptical about its functionality, especially considering the price. But I was wrong. The bed was very well packaged considering the weight of the box. All the parts were clearly labeled, even the hardware was shrink-wrapped, and there was plenty of spare hardware inside in case it got lost. The instructions were clear and concise. All the holes were easy to align, and the threads were well-processed. I used my own tools instead of the wrench and Allen key provided, but I'm sure they will work just fine. It lifts the mattress without any problems, and the space underneath is great for storage. The cushioning is firm and looks nice. For this price, this bed is much better than you'd think. Assembly was easy, and the bed felt sturdy once it was assembled, and my daughter felt safe sleeping on it.

The bed is good quality. The only downside is that some screws are missing and the instructions are incomplete if we want to attach the stairs to the other side, so we had to disassemble it and reassemble it. My daughter loves it though.

This bed frame is garbage, parts are missing, there are holes that arent drilled out, holes that are half way filled in with hot glue so the dowel wouldnt seat properly, and pieces are broken where the screw is supposed to tighten into it so it’s essentially a blown out screw hole. Contacted costway and they were of no help whatsoever. Just blowing me off everytime I tried to contact them

I wish the headboard was a little taller but I knew it would be this height because my mattress is 25 inches thick, thicker than most mattresses but that’s okay
