Q: Generally how long are the beans past the roast date?
submitted by KT - 5 years ago
A: Typically beans are about 30 days past roast date - super fresh!
submitted byYUMMMYYY - 4 years agoA: Only one time, the beans shipped to me were about 4-6 months past the roast date. I returned the beans locally for credit, then hand picked dates from the shelf, rendering online ordering pointless.

Moved to Texas and was struggling to find a coffee I really liked. Decided to look further afield and discovered Counter Culture, tried a few of their different roasts and discovered this. It has been my go to coffee now for the past few months and it's honestly hard to beat. I use it mainly for espresso in my GCP, but it also works well with my V60. Highly Recommended!

Favorite coffee in the morning! Relaxing smooth taste. Milk does not dilute the great beans. Works perfectly with a drip coffeemaker. Highly recommend.

We bought it home to try it, the aftertaste is awful, it feels like a failed attempt at "Caffè de olla", very disappointed as the taste lingers on the mouth.

I have the single origin subscription, but I often miss the taste of hologram so I pick up a bag once in a while. Great as cold brew in the summer!

Disappointed after reading several reviews on it, so I bought it when I found it at Krogers. This one has an odd sour taste no matter how I brew it and I ended up tossing it. Honestly it’s the worst coffee I’ve ever had.
Great coffee.

Discovering Counter Culture coffee is awesome. The bevy of pretty art and coffee names on mediocre coffees was making my desire for coffee wain. It just didn't seem like there was good coffee anymore. This "countered" that. See what I did there.
Nice!

Makes a Delicious Cold Brew Concentrate

We often choose Hologram for our cold brew concentrate. The fruity/milk chocolate/syrupy notes make a really nice iced coffee. Our guests always remark how delicious it is. My husband made his pour-overs with Hologram for a long time, too, until he discovered Gradient, which has slightly edged out Hologram for his #1 hot coffee, with the additional nutty notes that he likes.

Did not enjoy the flavors of this although it is not a bad choice. I prefer Forty-Six over this selection. The flavor profile was not the mix I expected.
Love it!

We liked the flavor of the ‘Hologram’ blend - juicy caramel taste with slight some notes of chocolate, no sharpness , but good intensity. We played with grinder settings, pulled shots ranging from 20sec to 65sec and the cappuccino drinks were very pleasant, and shined with new colors.

I was given a bag of coffee ,hologram and a grinder . I was over joked when i tasted it. It reminded me of the coffee I had in Bimini. Rich but not over bearing. It was perfect for my iced coffee . You will love this especially if you like it iced!
Solid medium roast for espresso milk drinks

I only make espresso milk drinks, fyi. This is a more medium roast, not quite so bold and bitter as some. This bean paired very well with a splash of French Vanilla Monin syrup, but wasn't impressive much with the nutty ones I tried. Overall it's solid, would recommend!
