Q: Generally how long are the beans past the roast date?

A: Only one time, the beans shipped to me were about 4-6 months past the roast date. I returned the beans locally for credit, then hand picked dates from the shelf, rendering online ordering pointless.

We brew at home with either an Aeropress or the Clever dripper. Every single cup of the hologram we've had has been special! Even before the first sip, just the color and smell are so different from any other medium roast I've had. There is no bitterness in the coffee and it works really well as a cold coffee too (brewed directly onto ice)

Wonderful flavor! My new go-to medium roast. My method is 17g to 220ml. Ground on the finer side of medium, and aeropressed using water at 205 degrees.

This is by far the best commercially available light roast whole bean coffee I’ve ever had. Very consistent flavor profile for a blend from bag to bag. I’ve become seriously spoiled to this blend, and now even other Counter Culture products are not okay…

Decent coffee, smooth and not bitter. Not fruity tasting at all but the grounds had a fruity smell. I prefer the green bag (Big Trouble). Fresh and grinds well in our espresso machine.

Counter culture coffee NEVER disappoints. I brew with a pour over setup, and this coffee is pretty great. The chocolate note is really spot on, and very consistent day to day regardless of mistakes on my end. If you’re looking for a reliable, chocolate-y coffee, this blend is for you.

This coffee is fantastic! Better than some coffee shops. It has such a smooth, deep flavor. No harshness or bitterness. Well worth the price if you enjoy a really good cup of coffee. As I was enjoying my first cup I couldn't help but exclaim out loud, 'What a good cup of coffee!' I used 4oz of beans in an 8 cup drip coffee maker. Tomorrow I'm excited to try some in my Aeropress, can't stop thinking about how good this coffee was. My bag arrived dated 2 weeks after the roasting date so it was very fresh. I also tried 2 other varieties of Counter Culture coffee and those dates are similar so no issue with freshness.

Delicious coffee! We make pour overs with it and it’s one of our favorite coffees. We used to buy it at the coffee shop that uses it near us but happy it’s available at Target now. Highly recommend.

I love these beans and use them for espresso. However, while they may be cheaper than other stores, this may come at the expense of quality. When I received them only 2 of the 7 bags were within their ‘Best By’ dates. Target customer service helped, but for coffee snobs like me, be warned; ordering these may not result in a consistent quality/freshness.

I really like this one. Great daily drinker if you are into a cup that has some fruit notes but isn't overpowering. I think they use some natural processes beans in the blend. Overall one of my favorites, especially in a French Press.

This is by far my favorite coffee and I drink it daily. Medium roast, smooth, and a little bit of fruitiness make this coffee a go to for me. I have tried as iced coffee and also turns out great.
