Q: How freshly roasted are these bags?
submitted by Tätte - 4 years ago
A: Most are freshly roasted before shipping.
submitted byShannon - 4 years agoA: It's hit or miss on freshness. I've received some packages that were already past their best by date, but Target customer service is top notch and will fix those issues right away. For the price and the awesome Target customer service, I wouldn't hesitate to order.

I've had all levels of coffee from expensive to lower end! I've had coffee in Europe and on travels of mine. This is an excellent chocolatey smooth blend. No acid flavor, like a starbucks blend. Just smooth chocolate and slight nutty flavor to me. Totally worth the price. I buy whole and grind my coffe before brewing. Give it a try 10/10!
I love this one for Latte

I bought this one and also Apollo and hologram. I feel this one is my most favorable ones for latte. It doesn’t taste sour or bitter. Just perfect nutty flavor. I will repurchase this one.
Not for me, but maybe for you... ^.^

I really wanted to like. It’s organic and super fresh. It says roasted 11/1/24 so it’s only a month old. And it has the expiration date which is great. Easy to find on the back. Although the coffee was too light/ mild of a taste and too watery no matter how much water I added. Whole beans had a light smell which was good but not strong at all.. so I ground the beans up to espresso fine to make it a little stronger and hopefully better…, And it did in strength… but not taste. My kids loved it though and since it’s not as strong as I would love it to be. It’s perfect for them so I am happy it won’t go to waste. It’s all in preference. I am a very dark strong espresso lover so if you are too then maybe you’d want something different. This product is not fair trade, but it’s organic like I said, and it’s B certified, kosher, very fresh and very clean. Since my kids like it, I might buy again. I don’t know we will see.
Wanted to like it…

I’m not usually one to leave reviews, but I was pretty disappointed with this blend. I used it was my breville espresso machine and had a difficult time dialing this in. The shots were not pulling correctly no matter how many adjustments I made. I thought it was user error but I tried my other beans and had no issues. This coffee smells amazing but it’s too bitter for my liking.

Favorite all time!! It's sweet. It's nutty and I feel like it borders on CHOC the way hazelnut does.

There is no words to describe how grateful I'm everytime drinking the coffee produced by Counter Culture, me and my wife tried lots of brands, Lavazza, Starbucks, some Costco brands, none of them tasted as good as "Fast Forward" by counter Culture. Keep doing it guys, you're rock!

CCC is a new brand in my local food store and the whole product line was pretty fresh so I tried it. I was impressed with source labeling which led me to the purchase. Delightfully surprised with the results using my Hario Switch. I’ve tried three recipes so far and am able to pull different notes with each.
A little off?

I’m not a huge coffee person but I don’t like this. It doesn’t taste smooth and creamy, it tastes acidic… I tried it plain, with milk, and creamer but it just tastes a little off

I really like Fast Forward. It’s so smooth and creamy. Definitely a little nutty, which is the perfect combination in a cup of coffee for me. My husband wasn’t allowed to have any at first because I liked it so much but I decided he should have some. It’s pretty good.

Great tasting medium roast; delivers exactly what it promises. I like balanced roasts for my morning routine, so I love it. Not bright, not dark, so exactly my sweetspot. To the guy who gave it 1 star; I am sorry that this coffee ruined your life for good; you wife filed a divorce, all your network unfriended you, and you lost your job, bla bla bla. The most hilarous review for a coffee I've ever read.

I bought this at my local health food store based on the description. I've tried a couple of methods so far but I'm NOT getting anything ANYWHERE NEAR the descriptors used on the shelf tag for it or listed on the website. I'm confused. The other coffees I've tried from Counter Culture have been good but this is a weird flavor with too much acid. I have just tried it with my French Press at a six minute immersion and while is a little bit better, it still tastes nothing like the description and is still more acid than I like, just a bit more tolerable. Instead of a "a light, nutty roast with creamy sweetness", I'm getting a meat-like flavor with a good bit of citric acid. I shall next try it in my Neapolitan flip pot but I am currently not at all hopeful. I'm on an extremely tight budget and I can't afford coffee that doesn't live up to the promise that I'm willing to scrape my pennies together for.

Sometimes you want a big bold cup and other times you want to ease into your day. Fast forward is one of those brews. It is a smooth and satisfying coffee. It's not a light coffee. It has enough flavor attributes to keep you interested. I will buy this again.
