    Quiet Grinder that Looks Great and No Static

    I purchased this grinder to replace an older, well-known model. First, I think it looks great and easily fits under the cabinet unlike other grinders. Second, it's grind is very consistent and the grinds do not get stuck to the jar (anti-static feature). It is very quiet and does not disturb our conversations when using it. I know some people think that it is hard to use, I did not have a problem. Would buy it again.

    Very capable, and quiet grinder

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had an old Cuisinart burr grinder for years. It is loud and always leaves a layer of very fine particles, regardless of how coarse or fine the grind setting is. My goal was to find a reasonably priced burr grinder that had lots of flexibility with respect to grind settings, and most importantly, was very consistent with the output, regardless of grind setting. The Kitchenaid burr grinder delivered this and then some. On top of the extremely consistent grind, it is also surprisingly quiet. The only minor quibble I have is that the grind settings are somewhat counter-intuitive. Every grinder I have used has had the grind size number correspond to the size of the grind. I.e. the smaller the number, the finer the grind. But the Kitchenaid is the opposite for some reason. 1 is extremely coarse and 80 is extremely fine. Strange.

    Excellent Grinder

Perfect I do not know how they did it, but there is no static cling of the ground coffee to the sides of the collection vessel.

    Absolutely the best and the best tasting coffee

    I love to drink fresh grounded coffee every single time!!! It’s absolutely the best grinder I ever own, have many settings so you can grind your coffee beens the way you like. You can adjust for how many cups you like and how fine you want to grind your coffee whatever you will use espresso machine, drip, perc or French press. I absolutely love this grinder and cant imagine my life without it!!

    Great Grinder, and looks great

    Works great! I recently decided to up my coffee game and purchased a high end coffee maker.. I get that your supposed to weigh out your coffee beans, but I ain't got time for that! I use a 28 grind for 18 seconds with a Columbian roast for 10 cups. I haven't used another blend thus far, but will dial in for various blends in the future.

    Simple, reliable and customizable

    (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought my KitchenAid burr grinder over a month ago after a long search for a coffee grinder upgrade. At first I hesitated at the price point, but the moment I unboxed it and used it for the first time I knew the decision was worth it. I wanted something simple to use but with the capability to fine tune my grind. I currently use a Chemex and it was easy to find the exact right setting for what I needed. I could taste the difference from the first cup. Other features that make this product 5-star worthy include the sleek and minimal design, the ease of cleaning its components, the quieter noise, and it's reliability. If I had any suggestions for future models it would be to offer multiple classic KitchenAid colour options and make it possible to have 2-3 programmable settings instead of just one. Overall, I have no regrets with this purchase and I'm glad I went with a trusted name.

    Consistent grind with no mess

    This coffee grinder is very well designed. The straight through design makes the grinder mess free. The machine has solved the static problem so the coffee grounds don’t sitck to container. The grind size is widely adjustable and very consistent. The motor is powerful enough to grind a full batch and runs quietly. This is the best grinder I’ve ever had.

    Great until it wasn’t

    Worked really well for a little over a year. As it was out of warranty I pulled it apart to see what happened. The worm gear on the motor had stripped. It seems that replacement motors are not available.

It grinds the exact amount of cups I need and is fairly quiet, so I can use it in the morning while others are asleep. It's also nice that it doesn't take up too much space on the countertop. I also love the blue digital display! It's fun to use.

    Perfect for every type of coffee!

    (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This grinder does it all! I make a variety of coffee beverages at home - using a drip machine, French press, and manual espresso machine regularly. I was looking for a precision grinder that could do everything, and this one nails it every time. It’s very easy to dial-in the perfect grind for any situation, then program the preferences once I found the right balance. Almost zero static. And quiet enough that I don’t need to wait until the kids wake up (or grind my beans in the garage, like I did with the old blade grinder).
