The bag I purchased was moist. I know beef jerky should not be moist. It felt raw and I just could not eat it. Maybe I had a bad batch.

After being recommended this brand by a friend, I bought a bag of this hatch chili flavor but after trying it, I was extremely disappointed by the taste. Not to be dramatic, but it literally tastes like the smell of my dog's food. It was very saddening because the meat quality was good, and I payed a lot for it.

This flavor was not good. It had a mild kick to it, as I expected, but the flavor of it is so off putting and to note, I love hatch chilies normally! No one in my family liked this particular flavor. Stick with the mango habanero, it's the best.

Being a beef jerky connoisseur as well as an avid pepper grower, when I saw this at a gas station I knew I had to try it. It was fresh, definitely. But I was greeted with an extremely strong and pungent smell of onions. I grow hatch chiles but I could not taste them at all in this product. The quality of the meat was very good. But all I could taste was onions. The partially empty bag is in my truck now, and it smells, like I have a bag of onions in my truck.

I was so pleased with the flavor and texture of this jerky! The flavor was spot on, not too spicy and had a great hatch chile taste. The texture was perfect...so tender and easy to chew. My only regret was not ordering more. Consider a kiosk in downtown Huntington Beach :) Thanks for making such a consistently wonderful product.
