My son has a Lactose allergy so he has not been able to have butter for many years and I have been looking for something he can have instead of butter. Country Crock is dairy free and we love it. Then you came out with the cooking sticks they are so amazing and just in time for all my Christmas baking. I use them in everything and they make the best fluffy biscuits, cream sauces, and chocolate chip cookies ( I use dairy free choc chips). Now we can have buttery tasting popcorn again. You should really put on the label that they are dairy free. I tell everyone that I know is dairy free or even if there not to use your product.

I used Country Crock back in the 1980s, and it was delicious. Used it in mashed potatoes and on croissants, rolls and biscuits, and I even fried eggs in it. It was that good. Switched to butter after all of the health hype about it being so good for you, but missed my Country Crock, so I bought a tub of the original a few days ago. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am. The flavor is horrible and nothing like the original. If you don't go back to the TRUE original recipe for this margarine, I will never buy it again and will just stick to butter or find a better tasting alternative margarine.

To those claiming this product is accidentally vegan, please stop and do your research because you affect peoples lives making them think this! This product is not vegan and as far as I know, NONE of the country crock products are vegan. The natural flavors in it, contain whey, which IS A DAIRY PRODUCT!!! This product is not dairy-free, it's not vegan. Please be aware!

NEVER melts, when you fry it there is a crusty film residue left behind, it does not do what butter and margarine is supposed to do. I do not recommend this product at all.

I spread this on bread and did not really notice the difference in flavor or texture that everyone is talking about. I am glad they are using "real ingredients" than whatever it was they were using before.

Normally, I'm not such a Debbie Downer. I 100% believe in standing up for products you believe in. I grew up my entire life eating Country Crock. As a matter of fact as a child I didn't even realize there where other butters other than Country Crock and stick butter. I've noticed over the last year or so a big change. It's not the same soft delicious butter it once was. Overall it feels greasy, watery and unmeltable at times. I can put 3+ tablespoons in a pan now and there is FAR more clear liquid (oil/water?) than any butter content than I've ever seen before. The containers are horrendous, I've dropped my butter more since the new square containers than I have my entire life. I've moved on to other products, hopefully one day we can have Country Crock back until, I won't be purchasing this product anymore.
