I bought this last weekend and I’m not happy at all. No matter what I do the mascara clumps on my lashes. I’ve tried everything to not let that happen but it always does. I also have a very hard time washing it off my lashes. I use face cleanser and I’ve used makeup wipes and it never gets it off all the way.

We have included some tips below to prevent your lashes from clumping when applying mascara: -Make sure your previous mascara has been completely removed and there is no residual make-up remover on your lashes. - When applying the product, place the brush at the base of your lashes and glide it to the tips. This will leave a smooth, even coating of mascara on your lashes. -Also, try wiggling or zigzagging the brush while gliding the brush from the base of your lashes to the tip. This will help separate lashes. -We also recommend that you apply a second coat while the mascara is still tacky. Additionally, we suggest using an oil-based make-up remover (containing Paraffinum Liquidum) or baby oil to remove this mascara. Apply makeup remover or baby oil to your lashes. Leave the makeup remover or baby oil on your lashes for a few seconds to let it soak in. Wipe it away gently with a cotton pad or cotton ball. Repeat as needed. For a natural look. This isn't going to make your lashes look incredible, bold, or super volumized. The application is fine, and I don't have issues with smudging or clumping. I do prefer a bit more oomph than this delivers. For reference, I am using the washable version.

The color is nice but the brush applicator is awful. Barely gets anything on my lashes, they barely look any different after applying this mascara. I have multiple other mascaras that all do a MUCH better job, this one barely does anything.
How to flare the mascara out word. Just love it.

First time using Lash Blast Volume Mascara, thinking it might be better than Great Lash. It’s NOT. My lashes are barely visible after numerous applications. The wand handle is cumbersome and slippery. The brush end is weird because the tip has no bristles. The rest of the brush has tiny, short, rubbery bristles and does a weak job. The product applies thinly to individual lashes and doesn’t increase their volume at all no matter how many coats I apply . Not worth the price! Even if it went on sale for five cents I would NOT buy it again! Great Lash, an affordable mascara, runs circles around this unfortunate product. Sorry!

This is (or used to be) my favorite mascara. I've gone through at least 20 of them, so when given a chance, I wanted to get a fresh supply before returning to the EU. I bought the anniversary version, thinking it would be better than the standard version, but I was wrong. The mascara is super watery; it smears easily and dries reaaaaaallllyyyy slowly. Unfortunately, it doesn't have the volume it used to; instead, it just weighs down my lashes, so I look like I have only five in each eye. It is so waterproof that it's extremely hard to get off. Micellar water doesn't work. I either need to pull on my lashes to crumble it off or use a melting balm twice, but it's never 100% off! I will give the classic formula a chance; hopefully it won't disappoint.

This mascara works well in the sense that it does give your lashes a lot of volume. However, it is not actually waterproof. If my eyes get even a little bit watery (due to allergies), the mascara will start to smudge or smear down.

I purchased this mascara a couple of weeks ago. On my first use all of the mascara flaked off by the end of the work day. Flakes were in my eyes. I removed my contacts and was unable to rinse the mascara off my contacts. The contacts were ruined. DISAPPOINTED!!! Going forward I will definitely stay away from Covergirl Products. !&0

However, the last 4 that I bought were either already dry to the point I couldn’t really use them and the ones that weren’t dry were dry within a week of opening them. They’ve also gone up quite a bit in price. Which I wouldn’t care about as much if the quality I was used to was still there….

I have purchased this mascara loyally for years, but the most recent tube I bought is completely different. I am guessing Covergirl must have changed the formula. It smears immediately, gets in my eyes, and doesn't wash off with soap and water like it used to. Terrible! I'm so disappointed and will be switching brands.

This is an amazing mascara! I spent an entire afternoon swimming and had no mascara transfer or smearing whatsoever. It's also a very natural mascara, which is great for a day at the beach. The mascara does a great job of lengthening and separating lashes, and you really can't beat the price. Highly recommend!
