This moulding features a solid wood core encased in a polished, composite finish. The wrong size was sent, but it's little wonder because the frame I received wasn't labeled for size and didn't even have a barcode anywhere on the packaging that a person fulfilling the order could use to determine it's correct size. This is a third party seller, not a Target iteam, and this is not typical of items sold by Target. I'm taking it into my local Target location to return it and get a refund. Not sure if I will try to order it again or just buy a different frame elsewhere.

I have ordered this frame in the 12 x 16 matted to 8 x 10 size twice now, and both times received the wrong larger size - the first time received a 14 x 20 matted to 11 x 17, and the 2nd time received 12 x 18 matted to 10 x 13. The frame itself looks very nice if they would send the right size, but I'm not trying again a third time.
