I guess you need to start opening your crayons and check them before you buy- similar to when purchasing eggs! Used, broken crayons. I’m actually surprised they were all there. And on the night before first day of school. Sweet!
The paper wrapping slips

The size is great for my toddler and it especially helps with broken crayons because they’re a bit more robust… but the paper wrapping for every single one of them slid down and off the crayons. This was frustrating and distracting for my toddler and just made them hard to use. Maybe a defect, but we had to eliminate them from our crayon assortment.

Thick crayons can handle a strong toddler grip without breaking. Helps little hands learn finger control while having fun coloring. Vivid colors go on page easily. Very easy to clean if your little artists color somewhere they shouldn’t, just use a soapy rag and wipes right off.

Stains dri-fit clothes!!! Got a tiny dot on a dry fit material dress, I have washed it twice with shout spray and it is stained. Also “colors” more on a rug/surface when dropped. Slowly phasing these out when toddler isn’t looking lol

These markers are formulated to wash clean from most launderable clothing, skin, and painted walls. As stated on product packaging, this product may stain materials which cannot be laundered. Our experts have come up with cleaning tips for those moments when we all color outside the lines that we would like to share with you. Please test these tips in an inconspicuous area to ensure you are happy with the results. Fabric: Machine wash promptly in cold or hot wash cycle with laundry detergent. As stated on the package, do not use prewash or chlorine bleach with a prewash product such as Shout or with chlorine bleach. Doing so can make it more difficult to remove. Repeat laundering should remove any residual stains. Do not heat-dry between washings. Carpet: Use upholstery/rug shampoo according to the directions on the container. I bought these washable crayons for my 2.5 year old grandson who comes over once a week. 3 of the crayons broke the first time using them. I like to color with him and one crayon felt weak in the middle while I was coloring. It was actually broken underneath the wrapping! Then I noticed 2 more doing the same thing. I don’t know how well they wash because nothing outside of paper was colored on. The only positive is they’re a great size for toddlers hands. But with as fragile as these are, it’s not worth the money. I will be returning!

These are awesome crayons for really young toddlers! First and foremost, they are truly ultra-washable. I’ve been able to use a wet rag to wipe it off many surfaces. The large size is easy for my 1 year old to use. Crayola really is the best quality. We’ve gone through several packs already.
