Q: Are these markers safe for dry erase boards?

A: We're glad you asked because not all Crayola markers are created alike. Our Washable Broad Line Markers are perfect for creating masterpieces on paper. While they clean up from most launderable clothing and skin, they are not washable from whiteboard surfaces. As an alternative, the dry-erase crayons included in the Crayola Dual-Sided Dry-Erase Board Set would be more suitable for use on a whiteboard. We hope this helps.

These wash off tables easily but not skin!! Took more than 2 baths and a lot of scrubbing to get the marker off my kids’ hands and arms. Certainly not worth it. Into the garbage they go.

Although Crayola washable products are water-based and designed to wash from skin and nearly all children's clothing, the dyes and pigments included in Crayola washable products react differently to various skin types, depending on a person's body chemistry. Rest assured, the colorants are non-toxic and will fade with normal handwashing. Keeping the area moist may help lift the stain. Bright and work great! They don’t stain clothes but you do need some elbow grease to get them off toddlers hands, but thats to be expected with markers!

Bought these markers for my kids to use to color and let me tell you they are not washable at all I can not get the color off of my kids hands for nothing tried soap, tried alcohol swaps, tried Johnson and Johnson soap, and antibacterial hand sanitizer, throwing these markers in the garbage from now on sticking with crayons.

Although Crayola washable products are water-based and designed to wash from skin and nearly all children's clothing, the dyes and pigments included in Crayola washable products react differently to various skin types, depending on a person's body chemistry. Normally, Crayola washable products can be removed from the skin by washing with soap and water. If you are unsuccessful with soap and water, try using baby wipes, baby oil or make-up remover. Since Crayola washable products are water-based, you may find that keeping the area moist with water will help to lift the stain.
