A: Hey there! For best results, we suggest using the 12 ct. Ultra-Clean Fine Line Markers. While these markers work well on pets, we learned a few of the colors found in this selection may leave residual staining after washing. Only use the following colors and save the others for paperwork or artwork: blue, blue lagoon, green, sandy tan, violet and yellow. Have a paw-some time making your masterpieces!

While we would recommend Crayola Dry-Erase products, if you intend to use these on a dry-erase workbook, please experiment to ensure you are happy with how they wipe clean from that surface. These markers are so thin they are difficult to grasp. The points are so thin they squish easily. Children do better with larger barrels for their writing utensils as their hands grow and develop and as they hone their fine motor skills. I guess this must be a money-saving technique for Crayola, but it was money wasted for us.
