I like it! It's a very fun coloring book. Very detailed and makes you wish you could be in these cities. I've traveled to many of these cities (at least 15 of the 40) and I feel they were pretty accurate. They definitely hit the stereotypes of all the cities, and definitely hit some reality as well. I have taken 1 star off because my home city, Denver, which I know pretty well, is not depicted accurately. For other cities, they did a really good job of giving detailed high-rises and features. On the Denver page, they really only depicted three features accurately. The high-rises are just a bunch of lines and rectangles. In addition to Denver Art Museum, Convention Center blue bear, the mountains, and Union Station, definitely could have had at least the cash register building, the light rail train, historic trolley car, Five Points/Rino wall murals, Capitol building, historic home or two from Capitol Hill, Platte River--just the most essential landmarks of Denver. Also, there are no buffalo, horses nor mountain goats roaming around the city. There's a bunch of meat and western animals on the page, is if us Denverites eat a bunch of meat and still ride on horses (these were true in the 1800's and early 1900's, but not anymore--also there's a ton of vegans and vegetarians in Denver). There should definitely be a City Escapes Coloring Book 2.0 with a new and improved Denver and some other amazing cities that they left out of this book-- Vancouver, Spokane WA, Tampa, Cape Town, Copenhagen, Wellington NZ, Cairo, Quebec, Baltimore, Salt Lake, Santa Fe and/or Taos NM, Dubai, Bangkok, Vienna, Berlin, Zurich, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Portland Maine, Havana, Chattanooga, Milwaukee, Charlotte, Budapest, Des Moines, Nuuk, Athens, Medellin, you know, just to name a few suggestions.
