bought for an adult coloring book, these wear down fast and break when you sharpen them, you have to press very hard to get the color. I will try the Prisma colors

My order arrived really fast. However, my order arrived in a very large box. When I picked it up from my porch some of the folders fell out of one end of the box. When I opened the box everything had just been thrown in. One box of colored pencils had opened and they were all over the box. This order could have been put in a much smaller box.

Loose stool, or loose pencil lead
These pencils are pathetic. Tips constantly breaking and inside lead, or whatever it is, is loose. So as I sharpen them, the lead just loosely falls out. Very surprised, crayons usually a solid name brand.

Colored pencils were all out of the package and a huge rip in the side of my box. Out of 50 colored pencils, I received 8. Same thing with the regular pencils. Also headphones were damaged and dry erase board was bent. 3 ring binder completely crushed as well.

Crayola Gone bad!
These are not the same quality as they used to be. They don’t sharpen well despite different sharpeners used (and I’ve used expensive and cheap ones) break easily, and color is not the same. Anyone giving it positive reviews are honestly go with historical memory. Targets Moda brand is 10x better in both color pencils and crayons. Don’t waste your money cause both you and your child will be frustrated. And no I bought it more than once so it’s not a “bad batch”. Investing in Prismacolor pencils from target is probably the best option for longer use.

Colors seem duller than when i was a kid
The colors don’t really match what they show on the box / pencil. For example the mahogany color looks darker than it actually is and doesn’t get to that color unless you are trying to non stop break the tip off.

Don't sharpen well; buy Mondo Llama instead.
These were fine at first, and the variety of colors is great. However, when it came time to sharpen them, they all just get chewed up (no matter which sharpener we use) and break over and over! When compared side by side with the Mondo Llama colored pencils, the latter is definitely the winner. Mondo Llamas never break and sharpen very smoothly, whereas only one or two Crayola pencils make it through without cracking and breaking.
