They are vibrant, strong, and long lasting. There aren't any bubbles in or missing parts of lead like some cheaper brands. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love Crayola colored pencils 36 count. Crayola offers the best product of any colored pencil I've ever tried. Believe me I've tried a lot of different ones and Crayola by far is supreme. The lead of the pencil is nice and firm and does not break easily. Made from nice quality wood the pencil is easy to sharpen keeping a smooth surface. With Crayola you don't need to worry about any harmful added products they are non-toxic and that is what I like for my family. This pack has lots beautiful bright colors and 36 is a nice variation from light blue to dark blue two oranges and reds even flesh tone I couldn't be happier!
