Crayola Signature 6ct Metallic Outline Markers

These markers outline perfectly fine. You have to shake them really well. In fact you have to shake to get the little ball inside moving a lot. Sometimes it means maybe sitting on carpet and shaking it and hitting it on the carpet. Once you get it. Really shook up and get the pen started. They work phenomenal. It says on the back of the package shake well. People that say they bleed everywhere must have didn't prep their marker. Any marker like this? Any brand is what you have to do. And yes they do soak through. They're not kid markers. They're not washable markers. If this has run on sentences or errors? I apologize I cannot physically text so it's a voice review.

Three of the markers worked great, the other three did not work at all (one was very dry, one was dripping like water color, the third did not make an outline). I do not recommend purchasing.

Crayola always has the best products for your money. They can withstand a4 yr olds scribbles and two 4 yr olds fighting over them. Simply the best products made!

They are okay, but I don't think they are advertised like they actually write. Some of the markers work really well and others don't work.

I love the way these markers look when used. Unfortunately, two of the six markers arrived with their tips pushed all the way in and are unusable. I am going to look for a different brand for better quality.

Bought this product to make tags for Christmas presents. Out of the 4 markers I tried, only 1 worked like it was supposed to. I followed all directions but like some of the other reviews have stated, the green and black just looked a little more shiny. The blue marker already had ink on the tip when I opened it. It wrote with no silver color. I tried to prime it but the ink was so watery it poured out. So far only the red marker was silver with a red outline. I haven’t tried pink or purple yet. These markers do look neat when they work correctly but it’s kind of a risk that you won’t get a full pack of working markers.

Love these! I’ve wanted these markers since I first saw them a few years ago! I’m obsessed! I have used them to help decorate my Christmas card envelopes so far and everyone has complimented how great they look!

These markers are very nice. You do have to be careful which paper you use, because the outline doesn't show on certain types of paper. I enjoyed writing with them and creating,

My daughter used them to decorate her box for Valentine's Day and she got a lot of compliments on her artwork with these markers. It takes a little bit to start the markers on the first use, but once the paint fills the white tip of the marker, they are ready to go whenever you need them. It is fun to watch the ink come out as you use these. You need to use thicker paper with these because they will bleed through. We used 65-pound cardstock and that worked well. These markers are great items to add to your art supplies.

They are really cool as they are silver with a colored outline and are perfect for lettering projects to make a statement. Be very careful when first getting the ink into the tip as even with a light push, the ink puddles out and makes a big mess. The ink also bleeds through the paper so utilize something underneath when writing so the ink doesn't bleed onto your furniture. I would recommend these pens for the 10 and up crowd.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these for my 6 year old because she is getting very into different kinds of markers. They are fun to use—I like to write with them too! Obviously this review is from the perspective of just using them for fun in a very low stakes manner (not a professional calligrapher or anything) so keep that in mind. Since we have been playing around with them, I have some advice to avoid user error: 1) you should know that they leak through paper pretty easily and since these are permanent you will want to make sure to put some sort of barrier underneath so you don’t damage your table or wherever you are drawing. 2) If you leave a marker in one place too long the color outline can soak in and get uneven or blotchy so if you want it to be consistent you have to move at a consistent speed. I think these markers are a lot of fun and allow you to make cool looking designs with not much skill required!

I would loved to have seen a different internal color besides silver metallic, but still, loved drawing and writing with these paint markers. They are easy to use and will decorate your plain notes in seconds. I have been learning calligraphy, so I would love to find a finer lined tip to try it out, but I love the bubble letter appearance these give. I decorated my nieces b-day card with fun letterings and drawings. Highly recommend!

I followed the instructions for "priming" them and still ended up with paint splotches. Also, the black marker doesn't really have an outline, just full color in a metallic tint.

They are amazing, clorful, and don't smear all over. Love these for my adult coloring books, they are a treat to have and will be showing all my coloring friends!!
