Q: I have done two treatments, I now have white spots on my front teeth. Is that normal?

A: I do believe that is normal, I have used other types of whitening strips and I have small little white patches on my teeth as well, they claim they should fade within 48 hours, but I've been using my whitening strips consistently without any downtime in between so I haven't been able to see them fade yet

It is possible that certain pre-existing stains or natural uneven coloring are noticed as teeth have been whitened. One possible cause of these imperfections is mild dental fluorosis, which can appear as white spots or lines in the tooth enamel. Your dental professional may be able to determine the cause and help with alternative treatments. If you haven't already, we recommend you discontinue using this package of Whitestrips. A: Great question, Kim. Use the light at the end of your Crest Whitestrips treatment. Apply the strips and wear them for the time indicated on your Whitestrips packaging. After that amount of time, press and hold the two buttons on the light simultaneously to turn it on, then release. Next, place the light against the strips on your front teeth until the light automatically turns off after 5 minutes (the light will beep and turn off automatically after the 5 minutes is up). A: Yes, after using Crest Whitestrips, you can brush gently. Note, though, that we don't recommend you brush immediately before applying the strips. And you should allow for some time to pass after you've brushed your teeth to apply the strips. This will help avoid gum irritation. There was no sensitivity at all, but I put a lot of time in and it didn't do anything. I thought I saw a difference at first but apparently not. Pics taken in the same spot, same time of day, before and after. Can you tell which pic is which?

I did find it a little difficult to make the strips stick completely to the front and back of my teeth. The LED device was easy to use, like putting a lemon slice in your mouth. Overall, I was very happy with the results and my teeth did lot visibly whiter!

After the second day I experienced minor sensitivity but I still wanted to complete the treatments. Unfortunately by the 8 day, my teeth were so sensitive that if air hit them they ached so bad! I was forced to stop eating he treatments. I loved the LED light that was included. It would automatically shut off after the treatment was complete. Applying the strips wasn’t a problem and they also remained in place. So honestly I can’t say if they whitetenes my teeth or not because I could not complete the treatments due to teeth sensitivity.

Safety is our top priority, and all our products are thoroughly evaluated to be safe when used as directed. We appreciate that you stopped using the Whitestrips as we would recommend that. The whitening ingredient peroxide, which is the same enamel safe whitening ingredient dentists use for tooth whitening, is at a level that is in line with regulations. As with any teeth whitening product containing peroxide, sensitivity or soreness may temporarily develop when using 3D White Whitestrips. This isn't harmful. The irritation is temporary and will subside, and there are steps you can take to reduce/eliminate this sensitivity. It is okay to use 3D White Whitestrips over a longer period of time by waiting a day between applications or alternating between using an upper and lower strip. Doing so will cause whitening to take longer but will not cause a change in the overall whitening effect. Do not brush too hard, or more than twice a day during treatment, and consider a softer toothbrush in place of a medium or hard bristled brush. I do have sensitive teeth and I did find after about 8-9 days my teeth did feel a little tender so I just skipped a day and it felt fine. I am a coffee drinker and have always struggled with yellow teeth. I think that the product did fine. I wasn’t expecting blinding white teeth but I feel like there is a noticeable difference that I am genuinely happy with. Would definitely recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a very loyal crest customer, and have been for the past 5+ years, specifically their 2 step whitening toothpaste, and whitening mouthwash, I hadn’t really used the whitening strips before now, because the price point was so high, I didn’t think I could justify it, but now I’m obsessed! I do think you should keep in mind that according to Crest, you shouldn’t use more than two boxes (2 full treatments) per year, so really, the price is further justified because you should really only need to use them for touch ups after your first treatment. I’m a big coffee lover, Lorelei Gilmore status coffee enthusiast, and crest is always my saving grace— I definitely plan to add these to my whitening routine!

I have used Crest Whitestrips in the past that have made my teeth super sensitive. These Sensitive Bright Whitestrips claim to cause less sensitivity, and they’re not wrong. There was still mild sensitivity, but it wasn’t as bad as the other ones I’ve tried. As for the whitening, I have noticed my teeth getting a shade lighter but it wasn’t a big difference.

It was pretty simple, followed a very traditional and common form of whitening, being that it was tacky strips. I thought the LED light was going to make a large difference, however, I don't think it did. And the claim on the box is that in using up an entire box of the system will remove 20 years of stains.. that is definitely not true! As you can see from my before and after photo it barely removed any staining, because my teeth only got a shade or two whiter than when I started the system. I did recommend it to someone else i know that has extremely sensitive teeth, but other than that I wouldn't recommend this product as a whitening solution. I will say I did not have any sensitivity while using the system, so if that is your concern I guess give it a go.

The entire process was seamless. All you need to do is apply the strips and wait 30 mins. Tip: dry your teeth off before applying strips to ensure the strips don’t move. After 30 minutes, use the whitening light. It will auto shut-off after a few minutes when the time is up! I noticed a huge difference in the coloration of my teeth after 2 uses. I’ve used them a couple of times a week, and I haven’t experienced any sensitivity issues since. They’re an outstanding product if you’re looking for an effective way to brighten your smile!

These are super easy to apply, just peel and stick. I love the boost light it doesn't take long and beeps to let you know when you are done. These are a game changer!
