Q: Hi, Our toothpaste came in a box that just has cardboard flaps and no tape or seals. The interior tubes don't have any seals either. Is this how the product is supposed to come? Thank you

A: If a toothpaste comes in a cardboard box, it typically will NOT have a foil seal. The cardboard is sealed at the end flap. However, some versions are made at an alternate plant for capacity reasons. In these cases, there will be a foil seal, which would be indicated on the package.

All ingredients that are present in our Crest products are listed on the ingredient list, which you can find at Smartlabel dot org. There are no sesame seeds or peanuts in Crest toothpaste. We recommend all children under the age of six have adult supervision while brushing, use only a pea-sized amount of toothpaste, and be instructed to spit out the toothpaste and/or rinse after brushing. There is no safety risk to an adult or child who may occasionally swallow a small amount of toothpaste while brushing. I might not be able to speak on behalf of kids– but as a person with sensitive taste buds, I can hardly remember a time where brushing my teeth wasn’t the most dreaded part of my day. I have never been one for mint. So, the “grown-up” toothpaste aisle always failed to appeal to me. The Crest Kid’s Toothpaste changed the game. I finally found a toothpaste that I could get along with, without sacrificing the dental hygiene practices that I like to prioritize. First and foremost, the flavor is so much better than the minty, spicy toothpastes marketed toward adults. It doesn’t make me feel half as sick as those brands do. The flavor is sweet, and bubblegum-adjacent (though more of a vanilla, fruity nothingness, if I’m being honest). Yet, it doesn’t taste overly artificial. It’s a kids’ toothpaste, so it tastes about like what you would expect from a kids' toothpaste. A little sweet, a little plain. Nothing more, nothing less. And that’s exactly how I’d prefer it. I’m also very happy with the results that I’ve seen thus far. It’s a decently efficient toothpaste. I feel like my teeth are very clean afterwards, even without the cooling, minty taste that we’ve become attuned to expect. I’ve been using this product for a few years, and not had a single cavity. While I can’t say that it’s for sure because of this toothpaste, I feel confident that the fluoride has helped. I appreciate what it has done for my dental hygiene. It actually makes me want to brush my teeth each day. Ultimately, if you’ve tried other childrens’ toothpastes before and not had a positive experience, this one isn’t going to do that much different. It’s somewhat more mild and appealing. But if mint-flavored products don’t do it for you, then this is the right last-ditch option.

This is one of the few toothpastes my picky kiddo really loves — I’d much prefer him use this than a licensed character flavored kind. It was introduced to him by our dentist and now it’s our go-to! No texture issues either, which is a huge plus.

My Kids like the taste of this toothpaste it’s minty but not too much for them. They have some other flavors too. The price is good and you can buy a two pack for a good deal at some stores.

Sparkle fun definitely makes it fun for my 4 year old to brush their teeth. Tastes like bubble gum so there is no fuss with teeth brushing time. It has fluoride in it to prevent cavities which I feel confident about.

My daughter actually asks to brush her teeth with this — the sparkle and fun flavor make it a win in our house. It does a great job keeping her teeth clean, and I feel good knowing it has fluoride for cavity protection. Just wish it had a slightly more natural ingredient list, but overall it’s been great for her!

My siblings use this and they absolutely love it. I’ve myself tried it out of curiosity and it tastes really nice and the packaging is nice and fun and the texture feels like any regular old toothpaste and it’s actually really nice considering the quality as well as the effectiveness. And its price is really nice.

i have a five year old and twin one and a half year olds.. let’s just say brushing teeth is one of the LEAST favorite activities i. this household 🫠 in one of my brilliant motherhood moments, i decided we were all going to go to the store and pick out toothbrushes and toothpaste, thinking if they had a choice, they would maybe be more interested? well, character toothbrushes picked out, we braved the toothpaste section. to my surprise, they didn’t want to character tooth paste to match, but the ‘sparkly unicorn toothpaste!’ we had a whole conversation about if this is the toothpaste unicorns use (hey, i know you’ve told a white lie or two to make your life easier, don’t judge me 🤪) and they (especially my five year old!) were EXCITED to brush their teeth when we got home i was nervous, but all three of them really enjoyed the flavor and look. while it hasn’t been a miracle worker, especially for my twins, it has made things much easier, especially with my older daughter. i see us using this for many years to come!
