Q: Is this the same red you get if you purchased at Cricut web page? Or are they different shades? In the venture smart permanent vinyl?

submitted by Joe Wink - 2 years ago

  • A: Thank you for your question, the colors of Cricut vinyl you see on other websites will be the same colors you can get from the Cricut store as long as the names match.

Q: Would this work with the original Cricut Maker?

submitted by tnboyce - 4 years ago

  • A: Cricut Explore 3 and Cricut Maker 3 have been designed, optimized, and rigorously tested for use with Smart Materials. Smart Materials are not intended for use with previous-generation Cricut Explore or Cricut Maker machines unless placed on a machine mat. Using Smart Materials with older machines without a mat may cause material jams, compromise cutting precision, and damage machine parts, so this use is at your own risk.

    Bigger than the machine

This is a really good brand. It appears really good and it’s easy to weed. It also has very good transfer, but my only concern is that it is actually bigger than the standard cricut mat. I had to cut off about a half an inch in order for it to fit in the machine and on the mat for cutting.
