Cricut Venture Smart Cutting Machine: Electric Craft Tool, Multicolored, Plastic & Metal, 1-Year Warranty

I got this to cut larger leather pieces for bags and other items that the regular maker can do. Nope! It’s very limited and not like the advanced or industrial/professional version I thought it was. You can do pretty much simple things larger and faster. Absolutely no use to me.

After two years the sensors are not working with very little use.

This is worth the investment. I bought the Cricut Venture and Everything Bundle on sale and it has transformed the way our small non-profit has been able to thank donors and create shirts for our local volunteer events. I was able to cut 27 shirts in 31 minutes. I used to cut it one by one on my Cricut Joy Xtra, and it was on average about 4 minutes per cut for the same design. I look forward to exploring different materials to cut or draw with the Cricut Venture.

Best machine I’ve ever owned. I have the maker as well but the 24” cutting capacity and the speed is unmatched. I make a lot of custom boxes and cards and it works wonderfully for cardstock. People in the reviews said that the scoring tool doesn’t work but that is user error because it works wonderfully. If you have really thick paper just duplicate the score lines if needed. I would recommend the machine to anyone.

I love my machine because it cuts much quicker and cuts more duplicates in less time.

I bought the venture as soon as it was released. It works great but a year after I bought it they stopped selling the 75’ rolls of removeable vinyl for it (and the transfer tape as well) I use that exclusively for stencilling and am now stuck with this expensive machine that I cannot use for my projects. I use 4’ sections of the vinyl so buying the 5’ or 12’ rolls will be a lot of waste for me never mind the cost is more than double. I can’t buy a competitors vinyl for it because that be would require a mat and there isn’t one 4’ long. I don’t want to put it on a mat and have that extra step or expense anyway. That was the main reason I bought this machine because it didn’t require mats. I call Cricut repeatedly to see if they will have the big rolls in stock soon and for the last 6 months all they say is it will be back. I seriously have my doubts at this point and now have to buy another machine to replace this. VERY upset with Cricut that they have done this.

This machine is the most incredible piece of equipment I've ever had. It's extremely user-friendly and highly detailed. I haven't come across anything that it can't handle.

the machine is great, but it would be nice if the mats were interchangeable especially the 12x24 instead of having to purchase new mats for the new machine.

Quieter than expected, fit perfectly in the room, so fast.

Great machine, works wonderful, makes great projects

Super fast and cuts so many different materials. I bought it to create charts for my classroom, so I'm excited to start outfitting my class! Perfect price point around Black Friday. I wish that I could have afforded the stand as well, but I've made it work in my craft room.

Dissapointed in this machine. I got it to cut mat board and unfortunately this machine will not cut it. It is pretty much useless to me now.
