I have this island in white and I love it! It's a really solid piece of furniture and does not look cheap. I think because it sits on the floor it has a nice "built in" look that blends well with other cabinetry. The butcher block top is also really beautiful! The drawers are push through and both sides of the cupboards open to the same space. It comes in 2 boxes and took my husband about 3 or 4 hours to assemble

I have needed extra storage space for my kitchen for quite a while, but never seemed to find the right island for my kitchen for the right price. The island came very neatly packaged in two separate boxes. My husband was a little upset when he saw all the different parts for assembly. But once he read the directions things began to run pretty smooth. When he finished the island I was so happy to see how perfect it looks in my kitchen. The island has the extra space I needed and then some.
