The doll actually walks when the baby holds onto her hands, which is the cutest thing ever — and it really helps build confidence while turning those wobbly first steps into a playful moment. The crying sound effects add personality (and giggles from adults around 🤣), plus the pacifier stops the crying which makes it feel interactive and realistic. It’s very user-friendly, even for tiny hands. The design is super sweet, with soft features and bright colors that little kids love. What I love most is that it helps turn a milestone into a memory — watching a child walk alongside their new little buddy just melts your heart. It would make a perfect birthday or holiday gift!

Cute idea but my daughter didn’t like it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter already has a few dolls, but none of them are interactive, so I thought she would love this one. Unfortunately, she didn’t. At first glance, the doll looks quite unique — very cartoonish and fun because of her exaggerated proportions. When you remove the pacifier, she starts crying and her eyes light up until you put the pacifier or bottle back. The walking mechanism is actually really cool, but kids need to figure out exactly how to guide her for it to work. Overall, it’s a decent and well-made toy. Sadly, my daughter didn’t like it at all. The crying sound annoys her, and she keeps trying to hide the doll somewhere so she doesn’t have to see it 😅 Even I can’t get a turn to play with it!

My daughter favorite toy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter used to ask for a baby sister every single day, and since we got Cry Babies My First Step she is so busy feeding, holding, and talking to it that she almost stopped bringing it up. The doll behaves so realistically that it satisfies that “I want a baby at home” feeling without adding an actual baby to the house. As a product, it feels well-made and survives daily play without parts breaking or seams opening. The battery life is surprisingly decent so it doesn’t feel like a constant chore to replace. The sounds and motions are safe and gentle, not too loud or jerky, but still real enough to feel alive and keep kids entertained. There is also a hidden educational side: it naturally teaches care, patience, and routine through play, while keeping the child genuinely engaged.

Super realistic baby noises
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This doll is pretty awesome, it's very realistic and so cute. She cries spontaneously and you have to soothe her with the binky or the milk bottle, then she makes happy noises. I will say as someone with a 9 month old and a toddler, this doll's cries are very accurate. Sometimes it'll start crying and I'll be looking at my baby and wondering if it was her crying. Gave this to my toddler since she's always trying to take her baby sister's bottle and binky. She loves it and we can teach her how to be responsible!

Fun doll

Every little girl will love one of these Cry Babies dolls they are made of high-quality materials.They also come with 2 AAA batteries you will need a Phillips head screwdriver to install them in the back for long hours of fun fun play. The only thing is with some toddler girls you may need to uninstall the batteries at night because my baby girl wasn't still used to this & rolled over on it and started screaming where Mya was talking lol . I highly recommend this affordable Cry Babies doll - They come in a wide variety to match your child's character . My toddler LOVES IT
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My three year old LOVES THIS!!!! She takes it everywhere. It’s good quality, and it cries so much. Haha. She loves when it cries, because she wants to take care of it 24/7. I can’t speak on battery life, because I haven’t had it that long, but it’s a good resource to help little toddlers learn how to care for a baby. The only drawback is there isn’t an off switch. Also, I want to mention that it’s eyes light up when it cries, which she also loves.

Great baby doll, hard for littles to function
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The doll is very cute, but I am not a huge fan of the packaging I don’t think it showcases the product very well - I probably would have passed it in the store. I am very happy that batteries were included! My daughters love that the doll is interactive, even though all it does is cry and giggle that’s just fine. It says this doll is for kids 18 months and older, but my daughter is almost 3 and has a hard time helping it with the walking function. Overall I think this would be a great gift to make any young child happy!

Awkward doll.

The walking function is awkward as well. My daughter loves it because it is dressed in a unicorn costume but it just isn’t doing it for me.
