Q&A(1)

Q: is there any way to hold one or two of these well enough on my arm end to end lengthwise so I can be up and around? (Gashes bruises and swelling from below shoukder to wrist from an accident)

submitted by Libby - 3 years ago
  • A: CryoMAX comes with a pouch and strap so that you can securely strap CryoMAX to a place on your body. It also lasts 8 hours so you can move it from one place to another to cover all areas of swelling.

  • A: Yes! I wanted to do the same thing so I bought 4 of them and use the handy straps to link them together!

  • A: 2 ace bandages or 3” wide coban (sticky) - separate the upper and lower arm applications. Will be awkward to wrap. Prob need assistance. 1st time around with whichever you choose is LOOSE with no tension. Next apply gentle, overlapping wraps—firm but not tight enough to cut off circulation. You should be able to slip a fingertip under the edge. Over-tight wrapping can cause numbness or tingling.

submitted by Avery - 8 months ago
  • A: Hello! Yes! Our cold packs are flexible while frozen so they can contour to the body part you need.

Q: Can this be used on the eyes?

submitted by Shark - 2 months ago
  • A: Look for the eye specific cold packs - like a sleep mask shape. They also make round ice packs but they aren’t great - kinda ouchy to hold to painful eye. If needed try a combo of the sleep mask plus under that 2 small-ish round or square ice packs. Use the sleep mask to hold the 2 small ices in place. I did this when I had tattoo eye liner done. Limit salt intake and sleep on couch with pillows propping you upright.
