A: No...the finials I received were a nickrlel finish, not as described.

Q: Does the larger length rod require a center bracket (in addition to the two side brackets)?

A: Hi Ljh. We always recommend if your rod set come with a center bracket to use it. Generally, we only recommend 20 lbs. or (@ 10 kg.) hanging weight for rods with only 2 brackets. When properly installed with 3 brackets in the correct positions, the rod set can withstand @33 Lbs. (@15kg) under normal conditions.

I really do enjoy the look of these curtain rods the only thing I would say if you're going to get the longer one make sure to buy a few more support brackets because I have four curtains on mine and the middle bracket is starting to loosen from the wall. Other than that super beautiful piece and it's really not that expensive compared to others that I've seen.

Buy your own hanging hardware!
Cute and just as pictured, BUT the hardware to hang them (the plastic anchors and the screws) are complete junk. Once I threw those away and used quality ones, everything was fine.
