sides get icy - easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only used it twice so far. The first time I overchurned it and it was icy. The second time was much better. The instructions do say to churn for 15 - 20 minutes, but they should explain why. Also the sides get very icy and it is not easy to remove all the ice cream. It is very easy to use.
How did we live without this?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this machine! We have had a very large, very traditional (add ice and salt) ice cream machine for years. But it took planning to make ice cream and it was messy. We were visiting a friend recently who had the Ice-21 and it was so easy and so good! We bought one immediately. It’s a simple machine, easy to use and the results are great. So far we have made peach, strawberry, chocolate and vanilla and now have ice cream on hand all the time for a quick dessert. We just keep the insert in the freezer when we aren’t using it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Summer in our household isn’t summer until you hand crank some ice cream. This year my kids requested to try to make a few different versions of frozen yogurt and it just seemed right to have an automatic frozen yogurt maker. The kids are loving it, it’s so much easer and less mess than the hand crank. The kids dream up different recipes for me to try and we give it a whirl (with in reason 😁).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this ice cream maker based on reviews from a couple different sites, and they were right. It's much easier to use than the ice cream attachment for my KitchenAid mixer, and it produces perfect, smooth results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So easy to use, right out of the box. Lots of recipes with the instructions let you make delicious ice cream right away. I like knowing what's in my ice cream as I have diet restrictions. You can cut down on the sugar and still make super tasty stuff. The clean up is minimal. I gave it only four stars because it freezes so hard, even in an insulated freezer container, that it has to thaw a long time before you can scoop it.
Finely no ice and salt to mess with.

This machine is pretty good for the price point. It's sturdy and makes great ice cream and sorbet, I have tried the frozen yogurt yet. I'd give it 4.5 start if it would let me. The only reason not giving 5 stars is the churning paddle is plastic and while durable would have preferer a metal one. However, at this price point it's not a deal breaker. The recipes that come in the manual are great starting point for exploring the capabilities of the machine. The Chocolate recipe is really good and used that recipe to get accustomed to things. From there I used the strawberry recipe as a base point for making Blueberry and Cherry ice cream. Both turned out really, really good. The lemon sorbet recipe was a good base for making mango and raspberry. Over all definitely worth the money and will never go back to store bought ice cream.
This product is a win win for me and so easy to us

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it so I can make my smoothies into ice cream and it works great. I don’t like that I can’t get it all out of the bowl, I tried and scratched it pretty bad, it happy with that. But I love it!
