Only pushes through half of the garlic

This thing doesn't push out all the garlic. It presses fine, but you'll have to go in there with a knife and pick out the rest of the garlic, or just waste half of it every time. I'm so frustrated that I'm posting this review while I'm cooking stir fry. This thing looks good and is sturdy, but it doesn't work well and does not live up to the Cuisinart name.

It's a useless design that wastes the garlic clove, leaves a lot of garlic behind, makes cleaning difficult. The only good thing about this item is the half plastic - half stainless steel handles which makes it durable for the dishwasher.

Not a fan of this press, every time I use it half of the garlic just goes through the edges and doesn’t press properly. Definitely find another brand and don’t waste your money.

Got rusted after first use. Washed with hand didn't even put in the dishwasher even though it says. Don't recommend it at all.
