Cuisinart French Classic 13pc Stainless Steel Tri-Ply Cookware Set - FCT-13: Kitchen Pan Set, Gas & Electric Compatible

I bought a set of this cookware about 18 months ago. Here's what it does well: heats quickly and cooks evenly, and has cool-to-the-touch handles. Here's what it doesn't do well: Non-stick pan - even when using oil or spray stuck sticks to it. Other pans: even using oil or cooking spray- EVERYTHING sticks to the pan and you cannot use anything harder than a fingernail to remove it or it scratches. PLASTIC scrubbers scratch, hard water discolors it, burnt food permanently discolors it. POTS - these still look good because they boil or steam things mainly. But, pasta/rice/starches will stick and then it takes much effort to clean. Our previous set of pots/pans from the 1980's still worked better than these with easy cleanup. Don't waste your money.

This was a gift for my bday this month of April from my stepmother and its been one of the best gifts ever!

I love these pans! I've used Analon, Hexclad and a few others and these are my favorities by far. The reason is that they heat up faster, cook more evenly, sear meat better, are dishwasher safe and I can just pop them in the oven to finish a dish. The handles do not get hot on the stove but they do in the oven. I'm stuck with an electric stove due to where I live so heating evenly and faster is very important to me. The only thing I haven't cooked in these is eggs and I have a ceramic pan for that which is non-stick and non tephlon. My only complaint, and it's not major, is that if you burn oil in the pan, it doesn't just scrub out. However, there are plenty of ways to get the burn out, such as baking soda and vinegar or heating the pan with water and dish soap till is just scrapes clean with a spatula. I found plenty of methods on YouTube. Again, best pans I've ever had!

Stainless steel pans are the best and this set has everything!

Quite the quality thus far. I’ve used them several times not and clean up is as expected. Love learning how to cook with stainless.

So far this set has been great with functional-sized pieces. It heats quickly and evenly. Clean up is so easy. Very solid, great quality, handles are secure and comfortable to use.

Exemplary quality, professional look, and excellent results for cooking meals. Admittedly we have only used half of the set but expect the results to be the same for all. We do recommend buying heat diffusers for gas stoves though to preserve the integrity of the pots and pans - and giving them a wipe down with distilled vinegar after cleaning to preserve the professional appearance.

Loved how my new set of Cuisinart set cooks my cuisine evenly. The design of all the pans is perfect and much to my liking! My older pans were great but the sides were never high enough for me. I am a serious cook and love to create and follow new recipes. Thrilled I bought this set and the price was just right!

An excellent set of pots and pans. Almost as good as my mother’s 40+ year old set of Cuisinart made in France. Why almost as good? No rolled lip for pouring! They hear fast and even and the handle doesn’t get very hot.

I finally was able to purchase my dream set. They are high quality, they clean very well in dishwasher as promised and a joy to cook with. I highly recommend.

Great quality and performance1 month in. I replaced the majority of my anodized Calphalon cookware with this set. Came across it in a store on vacation and was impressed by the quality and weight. No added metal plates on the bottom as is typical of a lot of stainless cookware. Very solid professional level construction and well shaped handles. I have a couple of other stainless pans from other brands and this feels and cooks a bit better. Clean up is a breeze, just follow the recommendations provided.

Gorgeous set. Very sturdy. Wish the 8" fry pan was included. Would be nice if they stacked in order to save space.

They look and work great. The only issue is the handles and lids get really hot.
