Makes good coffee but a bit tall for countertops. With the lid open (to let it dry out) the upper cabinet door cannot be opened. Also, there are two separate lids, one for coffee, one for the water. That's OK but they cannot be opened at the same time to let both insides dry. The inside of the basket for the coffee filter basket has a particular slot that is not convenient; the basket cannot just be dropped in. The coffee filter basket must be positioned just right for the lid to close properly.
An excellent option for pour-over coffee.

We always enjoy a good cup of coffee. However, when traveling we are usually "stuck" with drip coffee. Recently we spend five days at an air bng which had the Cuisinart Pour-Over Brewer. We were so pleased to actually have very good coffee each morning. Consequently when we returned home we simply had to buy one. Pour-over coffee is good, but challenging when there is a group of coffee drinkers. The brewer takes care of the problem. We are very happy with our selection.

Overall, I love this coffee brewer! It is vastly superior to my last coffee maker. It makes great coffee and I love the design. I have two concerns about the design. The lid just sits inside the pot. I worry it might pop out during pouring so I put fingers from my other hand on the lid while pouring. The other concern is when I open the lid to remove the grounds. Water drips into a little reservoir and I can’t figure out how that drains. Having said all that, this coffee brewer makes excellent coffee and I would buy it again.

The only reason i gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is the basket adjustment you have to make before brewing. I enjoy the coffee it makes. The other con is none of these makers brew extra hot coffee. I always have to reheat in microwave after adding cream. Otherwise a good cup of joe!

I have been manually making pour-over coffee for several years so I was excited to try an automated pour-over coffeemaker. The coffee tastes better! I prefer the bold and extra hot settings. It is so easy to use just the right ratio of water and grounds. The coffee stays warm for up to 2 hours. I bought the model with the glass carafe and have had no problems with any leaks while pouring coffee. Overall it is easier and faster to make great coffee. I am very satisfied with this machine.

Works fine. No different than a regular drip coffee maker as far as I can tell. Also, only has an 8 cup carafe. What I like best is how it looks. Would also be good if it had a dimmable display.

Loved this for the twice we used it. Tried to turn it on day 3, and it wouldn’t turn on at all. Totally dead. I’m sure (I hope!) it’ll be covered under warranty, but I’m so annoyed that now I have to go through the hassle of all of that. I would expect something to last more than 2 days.

Great alternative to a french press. A lot easier to clean too. Great tasting coffee. I suggest using a coarse grind and a 15:1 ratio.

Fresh, smooth and brews quickly for the three morning coffee lovers in our home, which was a concern with only an 8 cup capacity. We replaced our Cuisinart drip style for this pour over. There is a difference in the flavor we appreciate and are very happy with the upgrade investment.
