Now while I did like this mac and cheese I do think it’s very salty the sauce has a nice creaminess this is a great dairy free alternative if you aren’t in the mood to make homemade!

My oldest daughter has a gluten intolerance and we have honestly tried so many different brands of gluten free Mac & cheese but nothing tastes as good as normal full fattening Mac & cheese. This one surprised me because you really can’t taste a difference. The cheese sauce is so creamy and delicious and pairs perfectly with the noodles. We’ll definitely be trying other flavors of Mac & cheese from this brand and really would recommend.

Also, the pasta water turned out really starchy during boiling, and I had to stir more frequently than usual to keep the noodles from clumping. Overall, it's a solid option for people with dietary restrictions, but not one I'd crave unless I had some seasonings ready to elevate it.

I like that it is also gluten free with minimal filler ingredients so those with sensitive stomaches can also enjoy this. The Mac and cheese is easy to make and pretty much identical to Velveeta as far as the sauce goes. It’s not as salty as other box Mac so you will need to add your own spice but I prefer that. Overall a really great value that is seriously delicious.

I was impressed by the texture and flavor of the sauce; it was smooth and clung to the noodles. American cheese is such a guilty pleasure, the resemblance was uncanny. If you told me this had dairy, I’d believe you. The smell and aftertaste of the combined dish was a bit deterring, and would leave me questioning whether I’d go back for more. Personally I wasn’t a huge fan of the ingredients made to make the noodles. There was no chew to the texture, and the sauce failed to fill each noodle. This left me feeling a bit hungry and it didn’t help amplify the flavor the sauce which was a shame. On a positive note, I appreciate the compact packaging, leaving no shame for a late night snack. This is a definitely in the lead in my eyes in terms of gluten and dairy free Mac and cheese, it’s impressive! If these minor tweaks could be adjusted, I might even go around recommending it to my family and friends.

I did have difficulty opening the plastic package of the noodles and needed some scissors. For being a plant based and dairy free product the "cheese" had a texture and taste just like Velveeta. The noodles are gluten free but I couldn't have distinguished them from any normal macaroni.
