The only reason I’m giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is that there’s a slight aftertaste (common with many dairy-free cheeses), and I wish the portion size was a bit larger for the price. That said, it’s a great quick meal or side dish, and perfect for those avoiding dairy or gluten.

I added some garlic powder and seasoning salt to not take away from the whole dairy-free recipe, but this product is an acquired taste. The texture is very rich and smooth and could definitely be cooked to your liking. This is amazing for a lunch, in which you’re craving pasta!

Or if you weren’t aware of the brand being a dairy free brand lol. Taste was so delicious and wanting just a tad more. Was creamy and just the right thickness. Not too thick that it was almost like eating taffy. That homemade perfection Mac n cheese that was the go to meal from grandma type “delicious”. Leftovers did require a tiny amount of effort to get the “creamy” texture back just enough to make it more of gooey goodness and not just a dried out pasta meal. But what leftover pasta comes out to perfection when reheated? None. So it’s nothing that would change my mind on not purchasing it again. And being lactose intolerant I tend to come across some “lactose free” or “dairy free” products that end up determining on how my evening is going to end. Which ends up with me being crouched over in excruciating pain and the toilet being my best friend for the next few hours. Not the case with Daiya Mac n cheese!! Your safe with this choice 🙂
