A: Yes, David is gluten-free. Our products are naturally free from gluten and do not contain any ingredients derived from gluten-containing grains. To ensure the highest level of safety, we test our equipment for the presence of gluten before each production run and also conduct periodic testing on our bars. All results have consistently shown levels well below the 20 ppm threshold. Although we do not currently hold an official gluten-free certification, our rigorous testing program and strict controls ensure our products remain safe and of the highest quality for those avoiding gluten.

Change over time haven’t been awesome
I was a day one customer for David. The caloric efficiency of the product is amazing. While all flavors were not favorite, I was a solid proponent of the Doible Chocolate, Chocolate Chip Cookie and the PN Chocolate Chunk bars. When the formula for the bars changed… so did my love for the product. The flavors got worse (more chemical after taste) and the consistency got denser and drier (hard to eat and not enjoyable). I know there were technical reasons for the changes…. But there set the product back

Finally after fruitlessly searching many, many years. . . . I have found perfection in a protein bar. Reasonable caloric count, no added sugar, great amount of protein, as filling as a sandwich and tastes as good as a candy bar! How could it get better than that? My go to (so far) of all the flavor options after trying a variety pack. Started with salted peanut, which is also good, but the chocolate is a nice complement. Start with a variety pack and see what you think. The best protein bars you can buy.

Not as good as I wanted them to be.
As with so many protein bars, there is a faintly acetone smell to them. I do notice that after eating them though, my blood sugar feels stable and there is not "sugar" crash. I think I may stick with G2G or Built though.

My Favorites!
One of my favorites, by far! Best eaten fresh or from the refrigerator, as suggested by David, as the peanut butter flavors can have an odd smell that gets stronger the longer the bar sits on a shelf (taste is not affected). These bars are a great addition to a day’s intake. They’re filling and have good flavor. I love the slightly salty crunch - and the chocolate chunks are perfect, no weird taste as can sometimes happen with these kinds of products.
