Given a fake disc.
Good story, good game, was given a fake disc purchased directly from Target. Immediately after getting the game I noticed it was missing the preorder bonus insert. Upon putting it into my Ps5, it made a god awful sound and refused to read the disc. Did all kinds of troubleshooting. As a last resort I took my disc to GameStop and asked them for their input, just to be shown the real disc (left in both images) compared to the fake disc (right in both images) that I was given. Someone had put in a fake copy of Death Stranding 2, resealed it, and returned it to Target to be sold again. Due to Target’s return policy (no returns if the plastic wrap is missing), I could not return it in store, but due to the insane circumstances of being given a fake disc with the game, I was issued a refund after calling their 1800 number. Was just really bummed out because I didn’t anticipate this to even be a possibility, so please be cautious and consider buying digital editions of this game only or buy from another retailer.

I want to preface by saying I had never played MGS or any Hideo Kojima game. Man did I miss out on this man's talent. BUT this game..., this game might be his ultimate creation. HOLY MOLY, from the graphics to the story, nothing short of perfection.
