Ineffective
It didn’t suppress my cough at all. I just had a simple dry cough that kept me up all night for the last 2 nights and hoped this would work but nothing! Pricey for such a small bottle and for it not to work for me. Flavor was good, hence the 2 star.

Does not suppress symptoms
The purpose of medicine is to suppress symptoms and I’m coughing the exact same.. Happened to me before with this product but it tastes good

Actually works!
I went to the doctor last week for a sinus infection with a nasty cough. I got antibiotics and a steroid shot, but I didn't have time to wait for the cough to subside. I work around people and didn't want to cough like a maniac around them so I picked this up on a whim. It actually did the job! Around hour 10-11 I did start coughing more, but that was to be expected.

Worked kind of
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not to big of a fan of this Delsym cough suppressant. The taste was not the issue, it was surprisingly not bad at all. But for me it did not seem to last long at all. It worked initially but wore of very quick. Not bad to use if thats your only option but for me id use something different.

Didn't help - excessive drowsiness
This didn't help my special needs adult son at all and caused excessive drowsiness which is worrisome. I would not recommend.

Effective!

Works fast and is effective at helping soothe symptoms. The grape flavor is exactly what you'd imagine but I've always preferred syrup medication over pills, so I'm a fan!

Great for cough BUTT
I like that it helped my cough symptoms but I did not like the side effect of diarrhea. YIKES!

UGH - Causes Diarrhea
Works great on cough, but did you know it causes explosive diarrhea?? I didn't. Look on any drug site, and it's a top complaint. I wish I didn't take this, because now I have ANOTHER issue on top of dealing with Covid. NEVER AGAIN

This is great to use only if you have a regular cold. I do feel that it shortened and didn't require as much medicine.

Calmed my cough

I took some of this and it gave me great relief and fast. I was working so having a cough was not helping me get my job done. Has a nice taste I am not much of a grape fan but I thought this one had a great taste.

Stop the cough
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With the changing weather coughs happen. Good works perfectly to stop them. No gross aftertaste or need to take more than suggested. One dose all day relief. Lots of medicine makes one sleepy to rid the cough and this didn't.

Lasts a Long Time
