Q: Does this remove both chemical and zinc based sunscreen?

A: I use zinc based sunscreen, and this works. But definitely double cleanse to remove all sunscreen/makeup from the face.

A: Deep Cleansing Oil is gentle and safe to use around the eye area. However, we recommend keeping your eyes closed while applying the product, as it is not intended for use directly in the eyes. According to the instructions on the packaging: "Avoid direct contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water."

I have been using this for years after receiving a sample. It leaves my skin soft, not oily. It is excellent to use after removing makeup. I thought all my makeup was off until I used the deep cleansing oil. I had some small hard white spots which dissappeared after I started using this.

This oil is amazing! Easily removes makeup, sunblock, grime and dirt!! It does not feel greasy at all! Removes easily with water! I follow up with olive oil soap for the double cleanse and my face feels refreshed, clean and soft! By the way I’m 62 and have been using this for about 10 years! Highly recommend it!!

I have used this nightly for 15+years. Its the best facial cleansing oil made. Melts off face make-up and eye-makeup better than anything i have ever used. And i believe it has anti-aging benefits as well. My skin looks great at 64 years young. I recommend it for all skin ages.

I can’t live without this! I’ve been using DHC for decades( close to 40 yrs). This gets all makeup off, doesn’t dry the skin, doesn’t make it feel tight and itchy. I’m always getting asked what do I use on my skin.

I am 74 years old and have dry skin. I use this cleansing oil almost every night. It is not too heavy and cleans gently. Rinses off easily, leaving nicely moisturized clean skin. Sometimes I mix in a little exfoliating cleanser with it, which also works well. Leaves my face feeling soft and moist, not tight like some other cleansers.
