Q: Does it get smelly with all the water that lands on it?

submitted by Wethemboyz84 - 1 year ago

  • A: no ive had mine for over 6 months and it is still fresh and absorbent

submitted bymaria - 1 year ago

  • A: No. Make sure to clean it ideally once a week but you can do once every 2 weeks. Rinse with warm water, scrub gently with soft sponge or brush with mild detergent, rinse again with warm water and air dry.

submitted byRobinson - 1 year ago

  • A: No not at all. If you get shampoo or cleansers on it overtime that can leave a crust on the surface which you can easily clean. Ive had mine for 6 months and havent cleaned it and it looks new.

Q: Can you machine-wash them?

submitted by Yamimommy - 1 month ago

Q: Confused what the sandpaper disc does. Does anyone know its use?

submitted by Robinson - 1 year ago

  • A: The sandpaper is to scrub the stone with if it starts having discoloration/staining. Use a face mask if you do this because you don't want to breathe the dust in!

submitted byM - 1 year ago

  • A: Over time, soap residue and oils can clog the pores, but you can easily restore their absorbency by giving them a light sanding once every few months.

I was expecting a small mat, like a dish drying mat since a lot of A*mazon stone mats were like this. Pleasantly surprised that it is as big as a usual bath mat and as functional as a dish drying mat

I have tried every bath mat possible and every single time I end up with moldy or just a awful smelling bath mat. But this bath mat stone has been a complete life changer!! I'm very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend. It also elevates my bathroom with a sleek modern look.

    Be careful!

It really does dry quickly, but the gritty texture is hard to get used to and it makes your feet feel sticky. My partner was cleaning the bathroom and banged their foot on this, causing a large swollen purple toe that bled. They have a job where they're on their feet so day so it was especially torturous for them. Be very careful if you get this product!
