  • A: No. Make sure to clean it ideally once a week but you can do once every 2 weeks. Rinse with warm water, scrub gently with soft sponge or brush with mild detergent, rinse again with warm water and air dry.

  • A: No not at all. If you get shampoo or cleansers on it overtime that can leave a crust on the surface which you can easily clean. Ive had mine for 6 months and havent cleaned it and it looks new.

  • A: The sandpaper is to scrub the stone with if it starts having discoloration/staining. Use a face mask if you do this because you don't want to breathe the dust in!

  • A: Over time, soap residue and oils can clog the pores, but you can easily restore their absorbency by giving them a light sanding once every few months.

Be careful!

It really does dry quickly, but the gritty texture is hard to get used to and it makes your feet feel sticky. My partner was cleaning the bathroom and banged their foot on this, causing a large swollen purple toe that bled. They have a job where they're on their feet so day so it was especially torturous for them. Be very careful if you get this product!

Works wonderfully! + how to clean

I like that I can’t slip on it and that it lasts a LOT longer than my regular bath mats. It has been a few months since I purchased my first one but now I got a second one for my other bathroom. Not quite sure what another reviewer is talking about regarding smell as I never had unpleasant odors… that is unless that reviewer doesn’t CLEAN their mats. It SHOULD be cleaned at LEAST once every two weeks. I like to rinse with warm water and then use a soft sponge with a mild detergent to scrub the surface gently. Rinse again and allow to air dry. Trust me, it will not smell after that. I am however, confused on what the sandpaper disc is used for.
