The reviews for Dinty Moore Beef Stew show a mix of nostalgia and disappointment. Guests recall the stew being a favorite in the past, but recent experiences suggest a decline in quality, particularly noting less meat, smaller meat pieces, and inconsistent vegetable content. While some still enjoy the stew for its convenience and taste, others express dissatisfaction with the changes in recipe and meat quality, leading to a reconsideration of future purchases.

If you're reviewing this based on experience before its purported recipe change, by all means give it a low rating. I'm coming from this new, however, and it's a godsend for anyone on a low-FODMAP diet because, ironically, they removed onions. This doesn't have much by itself but is great as a convenient pantry shortcut for low-FODMAP stew, just add more stuff, which helps with the saltiness.

Good stew that I like for a quick meal. I like it with a little bread and butter. That's how my Mother sometimes served stew when I was a kid. Hers was home made though. But I like this brand.
