Diono Cambria 2XT Latch 2-in-1 Booster Car Seat

My big kid chose this car seat as a transition piece from his baby seat. He likes the back piece and finds that it fits snugly.

We absolutely love this booster seat. My daughter is 6 and is fully capable of safely buckling herself in now. It is a bit wide in the seat of my Ford Edge so it sits very close to the buckle, but still works and we love it!

This seat has such an awkward sized base, it's nearly impossible for my kids to buckle their seatbelt across. It's so frustrating having to buckle my school aged children into this seat. Terrible design.

Love the comfort, ease of install, latch, security and color options

This booster was much bulkier than I initially anticipated, and the seat pan is very wide—it was just shy of overlapping the buckle in my RAV4. I also have a Century Boost On, which my child loves and is a much slimmer profile; it also doesn’t push her outward from the vehicle seat as much as the Diono, so I think she gets a better belt fit with the Century as a result of that. She’s 5.5, so I don’t think this would be an issue for larger booster riders. Despite its size, it is very lightweight. We obviously enjoy the fun colors and affordable price, and while I think it’s comfortable, it doesn’t really have armrests, so unlike our MyFit and Boost On, this wouldn’t be a seat I would choose for longer drives or road trips. The cupholders swiveling out is nice in theory, but they are shallow and small. I would prefer a fixed or removable cup holder that was deeper and could more securely hold a water bottle. I appreciate that it has lower anchor attachments so the booster doesn’t need buckled in while unoccupied, and the “recline” (it’s not nearly as sophisticated as you’ll find on harnessed car seats) made it possible to get a good fit in my vehicle since a head restraint is required behind the seat, but no headrest gap is allowed. All in all, it’s a good seat and the fun colors can help encourage resistant riders, but it’s very large and may not offer the best belt fit to the rider or fit appropriately in every vehicle.

Looks amazing! Fits well in car. And was told it's very comfortable. Will be getting more in the future!

This takes so much space even in an suv. Returned once I opened the box.
