Fits toddler water bottles!
We needed this and then it appeared. Now that our daughter drinks water bottles, the older cup holdesr do not fit them. These should be the new standard with the seats. Also 2 is key, one for snacks or toys and one for a bottle.

Broken Chest Latch, Cup Holders
So the fact that I had to buy a replacement for a broken chest latch meant that the original product had an issue when my kid could break the latch when they were buckling themselves in the carseat. We have an older model of the same seat with a larger, thicker chest buckle and that one is going strong still, whereas the newer one broke and I had to buy a new buckle instead of it being a warranty replacement. As to the cup holders: we received a small cup holder with our older carseat and none with the newer one. So in an attempt to minimize shipping costs, I purchased a set of cupholders that were on sale. Kids love the holders and have been pretending that they are coffee cups, but I wish the car seat came with 1 as a default rather than having to buy them as an accessory.
