Description
With three character cars to recreate one of Disney and Pixar's Cars iconic scenes, the Frank Escape and Stunt Race playset is an exciting action-packed way to play with favorite characters. Remember, tractor tipping is all fun and games until Frank shows up! The set has two easy to set up configurations: Frank Escape and Stunt Race. In Frank Escape mode, Lightning McQueen will move in a straight shot to avoid the menacing Frank vehicle chasing after him, knocking over an unassuming tractor and Welcome to Radiator Springs sign in the process. Stunt Race mode sets up a ramp to jump over the hay bales and escape the angry combine. With everything for out of the box play, including Lightning McQueen, a tractor and Frank, who doubles as a launcher, the set makes a great gift for Cars fans ages 4 years old and up. My 3 year old plays with this daily. For the price point, it’s easily his favorite toy and actually keeps him engaged. He quickly learned how it works but has difficulty with the Trippin Tractor part (you have to insert it a certain way for it to stay down).

My son picked this out for himself and we assembled. Didn’t work, the roller didn’t roll and launch the car. Called Target Customer service they weren’t helpful so I looked online and went to a different Target that had in stock. Now it’s the same issue, roller not rolling and launching the car. Sigh…Any advice?

One day of play- it is cute and easy to assemble but just resulted in pieces everyone and then in the basement. The combine is great but I think you could buy him separate and not pay for the whole hunk of plastic

I don’t know if all the Frank’s are the same or if we got a dud, but it does not work in any capacity. It is supposed to propel the car forward using a spring mechanism. At first it did not work at all, after gutting it and reassembling it worked once then froze, making the track useless. My tot is left with a broken Frank and a cow tractor that does not roll.

He loves that this attaches to his other Cars playsets to form a giant scene and so this tends to capture his attention for a long period of time. The playset itself is fairly sturdy and colorful. It also comes with the Lightening McQueen car, which is both detailed and durable. This playset can also be used in several different ways. In the first method, Frank pushes the car forward and the car will interact with the tractor. In the other method you can do a jump. Definitely recommend this product for anyone who likes playing with cars.

The included cars and track were of great quality. My son is five and had no issues launching and resetting the car independently. He really enjoyed having the car knock over the barrels at the end of the track. Big smiles all around.

The play set comes with 3 vehicles (that detach and can be played with individually) and car track. My 4 year old loved as soon as he was able to play with it! Frank the Combine Tractor pushes Lightning McQueen down the track where he knocks things over and makes the sign spin. There is an attachment that also makes Lightning McQueen jump! This has provided hours of fun for my child and surprisingly he hasn’t grown tired of it and still goes to it for play. It’s a fun toy and would definitely recommend!

My oldest liked the fact that you can edit the track, which is helping him develop his creativity. My youngest son (2 years) enjoyed pushing the button on the tractor cow to send Lightning McQueen down the track. I would like to see some sounds added to the toy, as kids seem to enjoy pushing buttons and hearing new sounds. Overall, I would recommend this toy for any young Lightning McQueen fan!
