My daughter loves all things Disney princess and saw these surprise boxes. She's been having fun playing with them, which is great. Only downside is the boxes don't let you see which princess is inside. She wants to complete the set and is missing just the Snow White, but try as I might I'm only getting duplicate ones of the princesses she already has.

She loved the cupcake as a cupcake to put all stuff in but mostly loved as the doll. She played with it a ton the first day and still enjoying. The doll itself and the mystery toys inside are great! They’re the perfect size for little hands and my daughter was able to open and play independently. She really loves that’s the cupcake case is part of the toy too. The thing that was a bit disappointing was the princess that she received inside was the princess shown on the box. I’m not sure if this was coincidence or if they’re displayed this way so that you know what you’re getting, but it certainly takes away from the surprise factor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter did like colorful dress that she was wearing. It was extremely hard for her to take the dress off and on, the plastic stuck to her. It’s a cute idea but overall I think it’s more practically for older kids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cupcake doll that I got was the Rapunsel. We opened up the cute little 2 piece cupcake to reveal what doll was inside of it. The top of the cupcake becomes the dress when you stick the dolls legs inside of the opening at the top. It has an attachable bow on the front of the dress. Ours was pink. The bottom part of the cupcake becomes a table with two little built in place settings. There is also a surprise little bag inside the cupcake with the doll. Ours had two little cups for the doll to place on the table. Our 6 yr old granddaughter loves princess dolls and this one was a hit with her. When she is done playing with it she makes it back into a cupcake and puts the doll and cups back inside. Good imagination builder.

It was nice that all of the pieces fit together so they don't get lost. Although, it didn't keep my 6 year old daughters attention for very long. Even though she still loves princesses, it may be better suited for younger kids.

I love that you have no idea what you're getting and it adds to the joy of opening a new toy. We got Snow White and honestly it was so cute. The toy itself is just a few inches big with Snow White herself being about 1 inch long and her cupcake dress is about 3 inches long. Her face is perfectly matched to the original princess and the cupcake dress is a perfect addition to her look. She does not move outside of her hands so she is more of a well made scaled figurine. My daughter loves it so much and I think this may open the doors for her to start collecting figurines in the future.
