A: Hello Nan, This is Pam from the Georgia-Pacific Consumer Response Center. Our cups and plates are recyclable. Products can be recycled if and only if the consumer has access to an established recycling program that accepts food-contaminated paper and plastic waste. This is the perfect size for (a lot of) cereal for my kids on busy mornings. It is very sturdy and excellent quality. Despite repeated efforts, no spoons have ever ripped through the bottom. Even bowls full of liquid have never soaked through. Have been using them for years with no issues :)

We have purchased and used Dixie ultra plates and bowls for many years at home and while camping. There was never an issue with failure like we had this time. Filled bowl halfway full of great northern bean soup. Dixie ultra 20 oz bowl failed in about two minutes.The bottom completely let go.Bean soup covered my neighbors stomach and lap. I was embarrassed by what had happened. I am not sure if we will continue to purchase this product in the future for risk of making a big mess and not being confident of product.

Great bowls. Very sturdy. I just wish they were less expensive at Target. You can find them elsewhere in a larger quantity for a fairer price, but the availability is an issue, so Target gets the sale by default. I love the assorted Dixie Ultra line.

I bought a package of 28 bowls red trim -christmas trees - clearly marked 28 bowls - got home to my party of 22 people - and there were only 18 bowls in the package - we all looked ... they were not stuck together - several people counted and tried to see if they were sticking together - but there were only 18 in the package-

Dixie Ultra Bowls can hold soup without getting soggy or seeping-through, so, of course, they can handle everything else I serve in them. Dixie Ultra Plates and Bowls, for years, are the only brand I'll buy! They don't collapse when holding one side, and they don't get all gross. Best of all, it only takes **ONE** to serve a person, not a double or triple stack, haha! If you've bought inferior brands, then you know what disasters can ensue when you use supposed "value brands".
