I bought this stamp kit and it was MASSIVELY disappointing. The actual stamps are the issue with this as they are hard to use to make an imprint on the metal. When you buy this you are essentially buying the plain metal pieces, chains, and the tools. The stamps are awful. I would not buy this as a gift for anyone.

I got this as a christmas gift about a year ago. I tried to make a necklace for my friend. The letters were extremely difficult to stamp and turned out horrible. The metal is very hard to stamp.

No matter how hard you hit the hammer it will not engrave the letter. I bought this for myself and myself, a grown woman can't even hammer the letters into the jewelry. I will be returning this for my money back.

Doesn't actually stamp! Even if you try so hard, the metal will bend but no stamp anything at all. I'd return it if I could but I opened to try it.

Terrible kit. Did they even try it themselves before selling it?? It just doesn’t work. We get the letter to stamp but it slips and impossible to get it to line up. Poorly done.

Absolutely terrible. I got this as something to do to keep me from being bored when my mom was in the hospital having surgery. “Gently tapping” does absolutely zero to stamp anything. I pounded on the stamps as hard as I could and the stamp barely marked the metal tags. I’ll probably be tossing this and looking into something more professional if I want to continue this type of jewelry making.

I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. 5 gentle taps definitely do not do anything to stamp the letters onto the pendants. Even with pounding, we could not create proper legible letters. This was a disappointing craft for my daughter and I will think twice before purchasing from this company.

Loved the idea but this was not as easy as described. The instructions say “5 gentle taps” to engrave and instead we have to pound multiple times. Certain letters don’t engrave evenly despite taping the pendants and holding the stamps securely. We ruined 3 tags and just decided to keep practicing on them. It would be nice if it included a square of metal to practice and get the hang of it. It certainly wasn’t something my 9 year could do alone and I consider her pretty competent in the crafting department. Disappointed.

The metal plates are greasy and smells bad and are really tiny compared to what is shown on the box I could wash the odor off my hands The letters are hard to stamp and metal was discolored It was a waste of money! Very disappointed. I do not recommend.

I got this kit because I'm interested in jewelry stamping but also so I could use the letter stamps in other projects. The stamps are covered in brown oil and made a mess everywhere and smelled awful. I'm not sure how you're supposed to keep a good grip on the stamps when they're so greasy.

I am really happy with this set. It came with a full set of alphabet stamps, a stamping block and a great little hammer. I was just looking for the stamps and they were quite expensive. This also comes with some jewelry making supplies and a nice pair of pliers, all for about the same price as just the stamps. I wish they had the number and punctuation stamps...
