Dossier Women's Perfume - Powdery Tobacco - 50ml: Paraben-Free, Phthalate-Free, Vegan, Spray

Awful omg…and I love perfume. This is odd, will return.

I’ve found with Dossier scent and longevity are very skin chemistry dependent, so if you can test it in store do it! For Gourmand White Flower, I think that it captures the main DNA of Flowerbomb well enough to purchase it. If anything, it’s slightly more green and less lusciously sweet in depth. More of a smooth effervescent/effusive floral sweet with one drop of berry, and a slightly caramel, soft-airy musky, green center. There is some close range projection (someone sitting next to you could smell it) that dissolves into a skin scent after 2-4 hours. If I press my nose into my wrist I can still smell hints of it after 5+ hours. It’s a scent I enjoy smelling for myself so I’m ok with that.

I tried this on my wrist while shopping at Target and I was so surprised at how lovely it was! I was a fan of the original Flowerbomb perfume but couldn’t wear it because there was this screechy metallic like note that gave me a headache. The Dossier version is everything I hoped for. It’s soft enough to wear at the office and lasts a few hours on my skin. I’m so glad I found this one!

I have the big one I bought from dossier but this smell so different. I compared the both and this just smells off, a bummer because this is my go-to:/

This particular scent wasn’t my favorite . The scent goes away once you spray on. Something needs to be added to make the longevity of the scent more appealing.

I first sampled this perfume years ago when I purchased it from dossier and fell in love. It’s one of my favorite scents and lasted so long too. Imagine my shock when I purchased fruity brown sugar from target and realized the scent didn’t last longer than 30 minutes. I’m so disappointed - can’t even return this product. I threw out my box thinking it was of the same quality as my old dossier one.

SMELLS SO GOOD!

The first note that hits is the Ginger, which I like the best, and then the baby powder smell lingers. It then goes to the base notes. I like that this isn't the typical light floral women's perfume. I don't particularly care for the baby powder smell.

Loved the scent. The longevity long term was decent and subtle. Why I gave it 3 stars. The atomizer lasted three days and then was broken. No one should be paying $50 for a scent for the atomizer to stop working so soon after purchase.

Listen. I've never tried Baccarat Rouge 540, but I've heard great things and people say this is an excellent dupe. I can't speak to that, but I can say that I. Am. Obsessed. With. This. Perfume. It smells so good I want to eat it (not actually eat the perfume, obviously, but...the scent is just SO yummy!!). It's sweet but not too sweet. Mature but not dated. Flexible for day or night. I could see myself wearing this in any season, for everyday or special occasions, literally anytime and every time. It was NOT what I was originally seeking in a perfume, but it turned out to be everything I needed. Love. Love. Love. ALSO, as a general comment on Dossier: they have me feeling SO spoiled from a bottle functionality standpoint. The user experience with my luxury perfume bottles feel cheap by comparison. The spray on all my full Dossier bottles is SO smooth every time, with a fine and evenly-applied mist. No spluttering mess. The bottle is simply glass, but the cap brings me ACTUAL joy (I wish I was joking haha) with how magnificent it is. It's magnetized, so it smoothly and effortlessly snaps back into place when I'm done while being incredibly easy to take off. I know that's probably silly to some people, but beyond the perfume itself it's SO clear how much thought, intention, and effort went into this bottle's design. Without exaggerating, I'm literally excited to use these bottles every time I pick them up. And for anyone wondering, no, I'm not being paid to say any of this. I have no affiliation with Dossier, and I'm receiving absolutely no benefit from leaving this review (I freakin' wish lol). I'm just a woman who loves perfume and doesn't want to a million bucks to feel like a million bucks.

Smells amazing

Literally passed by this every time I went to Target. One day I saw it was $30 and I got it. Only regret is that it doesn’t last very long on my skin, but that’s not uncommon for me. But the scent is divine. I have YSL black opium and this smells better and is cheaper. Also, I like the magnetic cap. Feels expensive

Hands down one of my favorite perfumes. It lasts all day and is a perfect light floral scent that you could potentially layer with something else. I use this by itself and I get so many compliments on it. Bonus points cause it’s one of my boyfriend’s favorites that I wear too.

Powdery Tobacco has a weird smell. Maybe alcohol but definitely not the best dupe to Tom Fords.

I've purchased Ambery Saffron from the Dossier website in the past. What I received is labeled Ambery Saffron, but does not smell like what I have purchased in the past. It smells almost like rubbing alcohol.
